Previous issue date: 2007 / Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar a postura de quatro professores das séries iniciais do ensino fundamental, em atividades do conhecimento físico, em aulas de Ciências. Destacando as ações pedagógicas facilitadoras das interações sociais nesse processo de construção do conhecimento. O quadro teórico foi fundamentado na Epistemologia Genética de Jean Piaget e a investigação se delineou como um estudo qualitativo, de caráter descritivo das análises realizadas a partir de observações sistemáticas e entrevistas realizadas com professores de acordo com os princípios da abordagem clínica piagetiana. Os dados coletados indicam a importância das intervenções do professor no trabalho com o conhecimento físico e apontam ao pressuposto que os professores que utilizam de meios empiristas, não conhecem a forma de como se dá a aquisição do conhecimento físico e pouco valorizam o papel das interações sociais nas situações envolvidas nesse processo. No entanto, é possível evidenciar as diferenças que marcam os professores que além do conhecimento teórico sobre o tema e assumem uma postura construtivista buscam a constante promoção de investigações, experimentações e encorajam as interações sociais entre as crianças / Abstract: The objective of this work was to investigate the position of four professors of the initial series of basic education, in activities of the physical knowledge, lessons of Sciences. Detaching the actions facilitate pedagogical of the social interactions in this process of construction of the knowledge. The theoretical picture was based on the Genetic Epistemology of Jean Piaget and the inquiry if it delineated as a qualitative study, of descriptive character of the analyses carried through from systematic comments and interviews carried through with professors in accordance with the principles of the piagetian clinical boarding. The collected data indicate the importance of the interventions of the professor in the work with the physical knowledge and point to the estimated one that the professors whom they use of half empiristes, they do not know the form as if of the a acquisition of the physical knowledge and little they value the paper of the social interactions in the involved situations in this process. However, it is possible to evidence the differences that mark the professors who beyond the theoretical knowledge on the subject, assume a constructiviste position search the constant promotion of inquiries, experimentations and encourage the social interactions between the children / Mestrado / Psicologia, Desenvolvimento Humano e Educação / Mestre em Educação
