Previous issue date: 2011-07-19 / This paper focuses on discussions about environmental issues, with emphasis on water
resources, the difficulties facing the management adopted in Brazil, which is similar to
the French model of government functions in aspects of the democratization process.
Although in this paper, it is possible to emphasize a discussion of general systems
theory and how it is used against the environmental impacts on water resources. It also
describes the environmental impacts that exist in the watershed of the river São João,
diagnosed with the use of GPS and camera. During this paper, two maps were made,
one of the variations of altitude and other socio-environmental diagnosis, and also a
large collection of photographs. / Este trabalho aborda discussões sobre a problemática ambiental, destacando os recursos hídricos, as dificuldades frente à gestão adotada no Brasil, semelhante ao modelo francês em aspectos das atribuições governamentais e o processo de democratização. Ainda neste trabalho pode-se enfatizar uma discussão sobre a teoria geral dos sistemas e como ela é utilizada frente aos impactos ambientais nos recursos hídricos. Descreve também os impactos ambientais que existem na bacia hidrográfica do rio São João,
diagnosticados com o uso de GPS e de câmara fotográfica. Foram construídas duas cartas no decorrer do trabalho, uma das variações de altitude e outra dos impactos sócioambientais diagnosticados, além de um grande acervo de fotografias.
