Previous issue date: 2014-07-05 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / O objetivo da pesquisa Alfabetização de Jovens e Adultos do Campo no Norte de Minas, Limites e Possibilidades do Programa de Alfabetização Travessia Nota Dez é analisar o Programa Travessia Nota 10 no Assentamento Agrário (PA) Betinho, município de Bocaiúva, Norte de Minas, procurando, identificar os limites e as possibilidades do desenvolvimento do Programa nas turmas da EJA, e, ainda, analisar a concepção político-pedagógica do PTND e as contradições entre a realidade do Assentamento e as particularidades dos sujeitos do campo.Para alcance do objetivo proposto buscamos apoio nos procedimentos metodológicos do Método do Materialismo Histórico Dialético, utilizando-se do instrumento da abordagem qualitativa e, do Estudo de Caso, que se desdobrou nas seguintes etapas: pesquisa documental, observação direta no PA Betinho; e entrevistas semiestruturadas com coordenadoras, alfabetizadoras e alfabetizandos do Programa Travessia Nota Dez: Por um Brasil Alfabetizado (PTND).A dissertação está estruturada da seguinte forma: introdução, em que apresento a minha trajetória escolar e a justificativa, os objetivos, os procedimentos metodológicos, o campo e os sujeitos da pesquisa. No segundo capítulo trazemos uma reflexão teórica sobre a ideologia, e, o discurso da cidadania burguesa sobre a educação. O terceiro capítulo, de forma geral e sintética, apresentamos o percurso histórico da EJA no Brasil, salientando as reformas neoliberais dos anos de 1980 a 2000, o Programa Brasil Alfabetizado e aspectos mais gerais da Educação do Campo. O quarto capítulo caracteriza o campo da pesquisa, que é o Norte de Minas, e o PA Betinho, e, ainda apresenta os sujeitos da pesquisa. O quinto capítulo discute os dados coletados, procurando refleti-los a luz do referencial teórico adotado. E nas considerações finais, apresentamos alguns aspectos da realidade da pesquisa que de alguma forma indicam a compreensão de que a Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) assim como a educação básica de um modo geral ainda hoje estão distantes, quantitativamente e, sobretudo, qualitativamente dos níveis desejados, tanto pela literatura, bem como pelos diversos movimentos populares. / The research goal of Youth and Adult Literacy from the countryside in Northern Minas, Limits and Possibilities of Literacy Program “Travessia Nota Dez” is to analyze the program Travessia Nota Dez in the Agrarian Settlement (PA) Betinho, in the town of Bocaiuva, Northern Minas, trying to identify the limits and possibilities of the development of the program in classes of adult education EJA, and yet analyze the political-pedagogical conceptions of PTND and the contradictions between the reality of the settlement and the particularities of the country men.To reach the proposed objective we sought support in the methodological procedures of the method of Historical Materialism Dialectic, using the instrument of qualitative approach and case study, which unfolded in the following steps: documentary research, direct observation in PA Betinho, and semistructured interviews with coordinators, literacy teachers and literacy students of the “Travessia Nota Dez” Program: for a Literate Brazil (PTND). The dissertation is structured as follows: introduction, where I present my school history and justification, aims, methodological procedures, the field and the research subjects. In the second chapter we present a theoretical reflection on the ideology, and the speech of bourgeois citizenship on education. The third chapter in general and synthetically present the historical background of the EJA in Brazil, highlighting the neoliberal reforms of the years 1980 -2000, the Literate Brazil Program and more general aspects of countryside Education. The fourth chapter characterizes the field of research, which is the North of Minas, and the PA Betinho, and also presents the research subjects. The fifth chapter discusses the collected data, trying to reflect the light of the theoretical approach applied. And in the final remarks, we present some aspects of the reality of the research that some way indicate that Education for Youth and Adults (EJA) as well as basic education in general are still distant, quantitatively and especially qualitatively from desired levels, both in the literature and by a lot of popular movements.
