Närsjukvård : en ny vårdnivå med betydelse för samarbete och samverkan mellan olika vårdaktörer

An ageing population calls for enlarged needs of care and treatments that is followed by an increased demand on social and medical care. Present organization and structure are not adjusted to these new requirements. Due to this fact, necessary alterations ought to be made between and within the different institutional and non-institutional care actors. This work should be settled locally. In this study, the aim was to describe "Chealth care nearby" as being a new standard of care as well as investigate its significance in the co-operation and collaboration between different care actors. A qualitative approach was chosen. Semi-structured interviews were performed with 14 key informants, representing different health- and care actors and politicians. The interviews were analysed according to content analysis, resulting in six main categories. The "Chealth care nearby" is one manner of new thinking when it comes to care of the individual. It brings more focus on the individual and his/her needs of continuity and safety. The groups of individuals, whom in the first place will be influenced by the "Chealth care nearby", are those who suffer from frequent caring needs, old people with several diagnoses, children, young persons with function disorders and people with chronic diseases. Successful elements for the "Chealth care nearby" are concordance and loose organizational limits between different care actors. In this respect, the means are plainness as regards aim, distribution of resources, mutual activity projects and an obvious mission describing all parts of activity.
