Previous issue date: 2015-04-22 / This dissertation has as object of analyses the integration of the NATIONAL PROGRAM OF
INTEGRATION OF PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION with the BASIC EDUCATION, in the
YOUTH AND ADULT MODALITY (Proeja), in the campus of Goiânia. The beginning of
modality began in 2006, through a technical course in nourishment, nowadays called technical
in kitchen. Proeja, in this campus has two more courses, technical in computers and technical
in road transport. It was a theoretical empirical nature survey. For data collection pupils from
all three courses were interviewed, the discharged from the technical in kitchen, the
administrative technical and professors who work in the Program, as well as the managers of
the institution. The problems, related to the Program, listed through the survey, go through
the way the courses are deployed, the resistance of the professionals to deal with the
modalities, besides the difficulties inherent to the public of Proeja which are the time without
studying, heterogeneity of age and the people profile in the classroom, the difficulty of
learning, among other factors. The biggest challenge imposed to the Program is to establish as
public policy inside the IFG, being able to consolidate and guaranty the public education and
quality. The survey shows that the pupils of Proeja go through denial of various rights
throughout their lives, which explains the expressions of social issues in their everyday life.
The search for a better work condition and a salary increase are ordinary characteristics
among students, many of them do not intend to stop their studies in technical education and
they seek for university. In spite of being formally qualified, once they are graduated they
have no guaranty of reaching better employments and salaries, because the logic of the
capitalist exploration overrides in the bourgeois society, where there will always be a
significant portion of workers that will not be able to send their labor force. Therefore, it
keeps reproducing the perpetuation of unemployment, underemployment and low salaries,
reality that affects the majority of the participants; mainly because they already live several
expressions of social issue and also for the low quality of education of Proeja, factors that
combined, have a little influence in the employability of its participants. / Esta dissertação tem como objeto de análise a integração do Programa Nacional de Integração
da Educação Profissional com a Educação Básica, na Modalidade de Jovens e Adultos
(Proeja), no câmpus de Goiânia. O início dessa modalidade ocorreu em 2006, por meio do
curso de técnico em alimentação, hoje chamado de técnico em cozinha. O Proeja nesse
câmpus conta com mais dois cursos, o técnico em informática e técnico em transporte
rodoviário. A pesquisa foi de natureza teórico empírica. Para o levantamento de dados foram
entrevistados os estudantes dos três cursos, as egressas do técnico em cozinha, os técnicos
administrativos e professores que atuam no Programa, bem como os gestores da instituição.
Os problemas, referentes ao Programa, elencados por meio da pesquisa, passam pela forma
com que os cursos são implantados, a resistência dos profissionais em lidarem com a
modalidade, além das próprias dificuldades inerentes ao público do Proeja, dentre as quais, o
longo tempo que ficaram sem estudar, a heterogeneidade de idade e perfis de pessoas dentro
da sala de aula, a dificuldade de aprendizagem e entre outros fatores. O grande desafio posto
ao Programa é se estabelecer enquanto política pública dentro do IFG, sendo capaz de se
consolidar e garantir o ensino público e de qualidade. A pesquisa mostra que os estudantes do
Proeja passaram pela negação constante de direitos ao longo de suas vidas, o que explica as
várias expressões da questão social no cotidiano deles. São traços comuns entre os estudantes
a busca pela melhoria de condições de trabalho e o aumento do salário, muitos não pretendem
parar os estudos no ensino técnico e buscam se preparar para o curso de nível superior.
Apesar de, em tese, se tornarem com os cursos, mais qualificados, ao se formarem, não têm
garantias de alcançar melhores empregos e salários, pois a lógica da exploração capitalista
sobrepõe-se na sociedade burguesa, onde sempre haverá uma parcela significativa de
trabalhadores que não conseguirá vender a sua força de trabalho. Assim, seguem
reproduzindo a perpetuação do desemprego, subemprego e de baixos salários, realidade que
afeta a maioria dos participantes do Programa, principalmente porque já vivenciaram as
diversas expressões da questão social e, também, pela baixa qualidade da educação do Proeja.
