Previous issue date: 2015 / FAPES/CNPq/MS-Decit / O campo da Comunicação e Saúde engloba tanto os conhecimentos peculiares à Comunicação quanto os conhecimentos da área da Saúde, os quais tratados em conjunto e explorados as potencialidades de cada ciência, se interrelacionam, interagem e convergem para um amplo campo interdisciplinar. O objetivo deste trabalho foi compreender, discutir e problematizar, a partir da opinião dos sujeitos, a dinâmica da divulgação midiática da saúde/doenças na mídia impressa do Espírito Santo (ES) e identificar possíveis temáticas de
saúde negligenciadas. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo no qual foram realizadas entrevistas com os atores-chave envolvidos na discussão/veiculação da saúde/doenças nos dois principais jornais do estado: A Tribuna e A Gazeta, gestores da Secretaria de Estado as Saúde do ES (SESA), bem como integrantes da Assessoria de Comunicação da SESA e conselheiros de saúde representante dos usuários no Conselho Estadual de Saúde. O material empírico coletado foi analisado por meio da Análise de Conteúdo a partir da
temática. A compreensão das relações que permeiam a mídia impressa e a divulgação midiática da saúde no Espírito Santo resultou em importantes apontamentos os quais podem auxiliar jornalistas e comunicadores na transmissão de informações pertinentes à Saúde Coletiva de forma clara, ética
e política e que corresponda às necessidades de saúde da população. Nas interfaces das relações entre os atores entrevistados e a compreensão da dinâmica das notícias de saúde, foram identificadas Doenças Midiaticamente Negligenciadas e apontadas estratégias para lidar com esse silenciamento midiático. Conclui-se que dentre as interfaces do campo da Comunicação e Saúde se encontra as relações com o campo da Saúde Coletiva e por isso, as sugestões para o enfrentamento da negligência midiática de alguns temas incluem uma capacitação em Saúde Coletiva para repórteres dos jornais; a mobilização dos doentes; a gestão fomentar a pauta pública; e a participação social. / The field of Health Communication encompasses both the peculiar knowledge to communication as the knowledge of the health area, which treated together and explored the potential of each science, interrelate, interact and converge to a broad interdisciplinary field. The objective of this study was to understand and
discuss, based on the opinions of individuals, the dynamics of media dissemination of health / disease in print of the Espírito Santo (ES) and identify possible neglected health issues. This is a qualitative study involving interviews with key actors involved in the discussion / placement of health / disease in the
two main state newspapers: A Tribuna and A Gazeta, managers of the Health Secretary (SESA ) as well as members of the SESA Communication Department and health counselors representative of users at the State Board of Health. The empirical data collected was analyzed by Content Analysis from the subject. The understanding of the relationships that permeate the print media and the health media disclosure in the ES resulted in important notes which may assist journalists and communicators in the transmission of information related to Public Health clearly, ethics and politics and which meets the needs of health. The interfaces of the relations between the actors interviewed and understanding the dynamics of health news, were identified Diseases neglected by the media and identified strategies to deal with this silencing media. It is concluded that among the Communication and Health Field interfaces is the relationship with the field of public health and therefore the suggestions to face the media neglect of some themes include a training in Public Health for newspaper reporters; the mobilization of patients; management encourage public agenda; and social participation.
