2000_AntonioCarlosLessa.pdf: 4132985 bytes, checksum: 2f42a6b8e5ce9a5e58b12f4302f2df73 (MD5) / O estudo tem por objetivo proceder a um esforço de compreensão das relações entre a França e o Brasil, desde o fim da segunda guerra mundial e o restabelecimento das relações bilaterais, até os dias de hoje, em suas vertentes políticas, econômicas e culturais. Busca-se definir os objetivos que animaram as ações dos Estados em suas permanentes interações, bem como as leituras que lhes dão os diferentes atores sociais envolvidos na formulação, gestão e
implementação da agenda bilateral. Investiga-se as causas da debilidade dos
vínculos franco-brasileiros, caracterizando a construção de contatos essencialmente conflituosos e tendentes à ornamentalidade, que se perpetuaram desde 1945 até o início dos anos noventa, e, desde então, se identifica o surgimento de condições para a construção de uma parceria profícua. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The main aim of this study is to make an effort to understand the relationship
between France and Brazil since the end of the Second World War, and the reestablishment
of this relationship, until today, in its political, economic and cultural aspects. There is also an attempt to define the objectives which encouraged the actions of the two states in theirs permanent interaction, and the interpretation given by the different social actors involved in their management. There is also an investigation of the causes of the fragility of the French-Brazilian links, characterizing the conflicting and merely ornamental contacts wich took place from 1945 until the beginning of the 1990's. From that time on there has been some evidence of better conditions to build up a productive
partnership. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ RÉSUMÉ / L'ouvrage a par objectif proceder à un effort de compréhension des relations entre la France et le Brésil, depuis la fin de la seconde guerre mondiale et le rétablissement des relations bilatérales, jusqu'aux jours présents, en ses versants politiques, économiques et culturels. L'etude cherche definir les objectifs qui ont animé les actions des Etats dans ses interactions permanentes, bien comme les lectures données par les différents acteurs socials engagés dans la formulation, gestion et accomplissement de l'agenda bilateral. Le travail recherche les causes de la débilité des liens franco-brésiliens, en caractérisant la construction des contacts essentiellement conflictuels et tendents à 1'ornementalité, qui se sont perpetués depuis 1945 jusqu'au début des années quatre-vingt-dix, et, dès lors, on identifie l'apparition de conditions pour la construction d'une association profiteuse.
