Bedsiderapportering är ett relativt nytt rapporteringssystem i Sverige, som innebär att överrapporteringen mellan förmiddagssjuksköterskan och kvällssjuksköterskan sker inne hos patienten. Syftet med studien var att undersöka patienternas upplevelse av rapporteringsmodellen samt belysa eventuella förbättringsområden. För att besvara syftet utfördes semi-strukturerade intervjuer på åtta patienter som var inneliggande på en avdelning där bedsiderapportering tillämpades. Resultatet visade att patienterna är positivt inställda till rapporteringsmodellen, då det ökar patienternas delaktighet och ger ett ökat förtroende till personalen. Dock ansåg informanterna att sekretessen var bristande, då majoriteten låg på flerbäddssalar. Trots detta var bedsiderapportering något som samtliga intervjupersoner tyckte skulle införas på fler avdelningar på sjukhuset. / Bedside report is a relatively new reporting system in Sweden, which imply that the shift report between the nurse who has been working the morning shift and the nurse who shall work the evening shift, appears in the patient's room. The aim of this study was to examine patients experience of the report model and illuminate any potential area of improvement. To answer the aim of the study we conducted semi-structured interviews on eight patients who were admitted at a division of the hospital which used bedside report. The result showed that the patients had a positive attitude to the shift report model, because it increases the participation and gives a gained trust to the nursing staff. However did the participants consider the confidentiality was inadequate, since the majority laid on multi-bed rooms. Despite this was bedside report something that all of the participants thought should be applied to other divisions at the hospital.
