Digitalisering och PropTech har under det senaste decenniet sett en stor våg av utveckling och innovation. Samtidigt stiger kraven på hållbara städer och fastigheter där hållbar utveckling är av hög prioritet. Att förbättra existerande system och inkorporera nya affärsidéer för att främja dem tre hållbarhetsaspekterna; social, ekonomisk och ekologisk hållbarhet är utmaningar som digitalisering och PropTech idag avser att behandla. Således blir syftet med denna rapport att undersöka hur kraftigt sambandet mellan PropTech och dess påverkan på hållbarhet är samt att analysera dess betydelse för den hållbara utvecklingen. Frågeställningen besvaras genom att undersöka marknadens huvudkällor. Företagens egna hemsidor, deras utbud av tjänster och teori kring digitalisering kommer ligga som grund för rapportens resultat. Omfattningen av hur stor påverkan begreppen har på hållbarhet differentierar mycket med hänsyn till vilken typ av tjänst som berörs och detsamma gäller för hållbarhetsaspekterna. / Digitalization and PropTech have been developing in a rapid pace during the last decade. At the same time, the demands on sustainable cities and properties are rising while the concept of a sustainable development is a high priority. Improving existing systems and incorporating new business ideas to promote the three sustainability aspects; social, economic and ecological sustainability, are challenges that digitalization and PropTech today intend to address. Thus, the purpose of this report will be to examine how strong the relationship is between PropTech and its impact on sustainability, and to analyse its importance for sustainable development. The question will be answered by examining the main sources of the market. The companies' own websites, their range of services and the theory of digitalization will form the basis for this report. The extent of the impact the concepts have on sustainability differs greatly regarding the type of service involved and the same applies to the sustainability aspects.
