Previous issue date: 2014 / Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar discursivamente o processo de escritura brasileira da
história da Língua Portuguesa, considerando-se a escritura como efeito da relação da língua
com a história. Mais especificamente, para compreendermos a escritura da História da Língua
Portuguesa, analisamos os efeitos de unidade e diversidade nas gramáticas brasileiras,
considerando quais efeitos de (des)continuidade e apagamentos esses discursos produzem, e
como engendram sentidos na história da língua. Para isso, temos como perguntas de pesquisa:
(i) Quais são os efeitos de unidade e diversidade produzidos na escritura da história da Língua
Portuguesa no Brasil? (ii) A que concepção de língua está filiada essa escritura? (iii) Que
política de línguas é sustentada por essa escritura da história da Língua Portuguesa? O arquivo
para tal estudo é composto por textos de gramáticas de autores brasileiros que abordam a
história da Língua Portuguesa. Neste arquivo, recortamos para análise sequências discursivas
nas quais se formulam sentidos para unidade e diversidade da língua, sentidos que são
analisados pela filiação das sequências às formações discursivas e ideológicas. Concluímos
que a discursividade da colonização é predominante. Funcionam nas gramáticas analisadas
sentidos de uma política linguística que homogeneíza a língua, mas essa discursividade não
trabalha livre da contradição, pois compreendemos que o discurso da descolonização funciona
no discurso colonizador, e vice-versa. A pesquisa foi realizada na perspectiva da História das
Ideias Linguísticas, articulada à Análise de Discurso desenvolvida, sobretudo, a partir dos
trabalhos de Michel Pêcheux e de Eni Orlandi. / This study aims to analyze discursively the process of the Brazilian deed of the history of the
Portuguese language, considering the deed like effect of the relation of the language
with the history. Specifically, to understand the deed of the History of the Portuguese
Language, we analyze the effects of unity and diversity on the Brazilian grammars,
considering what are the effects of the (dis)continuity and deletion these discourses produce,
and how they engender senses on language history. Thereunto, we have as research questions:
(i) what are the effects of unity and diversity made in the deed of the Portuguese Language
history in Brazil. (ii) What is the conception that this deed is affiliate? (iii) What politics of
languages is hold for this deed of the Portuguese Language history? The file to this research is
compound for a text of grammars written by Brazilian authors that approaches the history
of Portuguese Language. To the analysis, we cut at the file, discursive sequences, in which
are formed senses of unity and diversity of the language, senses of are analyzed for the
filiation of the sequences to discursive and ideological formation. We conclude that the
discourse of colonization is predominant. At the analyzed grammars work senses of a
linguistic politic that homogenize the language, but this discourse does not work free of the
contradiction, because, we understand that the discourse of decolonization works on the
discourse of the colonizer and contrariwise. The research was conducted at the perspective
of History of the Linguistic Ideas, articulated to Discourse Analysis developed, mainly, from
the studies by Michel Pêcheux and Eni Orlandi.
