This study focuses on the youngest children's participation and influence in the planned teaching in preschool and preschool teachers' perceptions of this phenomenon. The purpose of the study is to contribute knowledge about how preschool teachers reason about the youngest children's participation and influence in the planned teaching in preschool. A qualitative method with semi-structured interviews has been used to get answers to the study's purpose and questions. The collected empirical data was analyzed using a phenomenographic method approach. We have also used concepts from childhood sociological theory in the analysis of the outcome in order to gain a deeper understanding of the pre-school teachers' perceptions of the phenomenon. The results show three categories in how the preschool teachers view the phenomenon of the youngest children's participation and influence in the planned teaching in the preschool. Within the category of the preschool teacher's approach, it emerged that the preschool teachers perceive that they need to be responsive and attentive to the youngest children. In the democratic approach category, it appears how the preschool teachers perceive that they are working to enable the youngest children to influence and participate. Two aspects emerged in the category of challenges. These are organizational challenges as well as the lack of the youngest children's verbal language. The study's conclusion shows that responsive and attentive educators are required, who are aware of the youngest children's way of communicating in order to enable the youngest children's participation and influence in the planned teaching. In conclusion, a well-planned organization is needed to enable the participation and influence of the youngest children. / Denna studie fokuserar på de yngsta barnens delaktighet och inflytande i denplanerade undervisningen i förskolan och förskollärares uppfattningar av dettafenomen. Syftet med studien är att bidra med kunskap om hur förskollärareresonerar kring de yngsta barnens delaktighet och inflytande i den planeradeundervisningen i förskolan. En kvalitativ metod med semistruktureradeintervjuer har använts för att få svar på studiens syfte och frågeställningar. Deninsamlade empirin analyserades med hjälp av en fenomenografiskmetodansats. Vi har dessutom använt oss av begrepp från denbarndomssociologiska teorin i analys av utfallet för att få en djupare förståelsegällande förskollärarnas uppfattningar kring fenomenet.I resultatet framkommer tre kategorier i hur förskollärarna ser på fenomenet deyngsta barnens delaktighet och inflytande i den planerade undervisningen iförskolan. Inom kategorin förskollärarens förhållningssätt framkom det attförskollärarna uppfattar att de behöver vara lyhörda och inlyssnande gentemotde yngsta barnen. I kategorin demokratiskt förhållningssätt framgår det hurförskollärarna uppfattar att de arbetar för att möjliggöra för de yngsta barnensinflytande och delaktighet. Två aspekter framkom i kategorin utmaningar.Dessa är organisatoriska utmaningar samt avsaknaden av de yngsta barnensverbala språk. Studiens slutsats visar att det krävs lyhörda och inlyssnandepedagoger, som är medvetna om de yngsta barnens sätt att kommunicera föratt möjliggöra för de yngsta barnens delaktighet och inflytande i den planeradeundervisningen. Avslutningsvis behövs en välplanerad organisation för attmöjliggöra de yngsta barnens delaktighet och inflytande.
