Notre étude propose d'utiliser le discours littéraire et scientifique écrit durant la période allant de 1942 à 2005 pour analyser les représentations des femmes tondues en France lors de la Deuxième Guerre mondiale. Nous pouvons distinguer trois personnages principaux caractérisant les représentations des femmes tondues, soit la « coupable », « l'amoureuse » et la « victime ». La «coupable» domine les représentations de 1942 à 1948 alors que les personnages de P« amoureuse » et de la « victime » sont surtout présents de 1970 à 2005. Cette progression des représentations des femmes tondues peut être attribuée à l'évolution de la perception des rôles et de l'identité des femmes ainsi qu'à l'influence du mythe résistancialiste sur la mémoire française. D'autres facteurs tels que le type de sources, l'effet du changement des générations et le contexte sociopolitique peuvent aussi exercer un certain impact. / This study aims to analyse the representations of shorn women (tondues) in France during the Second World War by examining a diverse array of the literary and scientific discourses. It is possible to identify three principal characters among shorn women: the guilty woman (coupable), the woman in love (amoureuse), the woman as victim (victime). The guilty woman characterized representations from 1942 to 1948. By the beginning of the 1970s, however, representations of shorn women once again appeared in our sources. Since then, shorn women have mostly been described in terms of the woman in love or the woman as victim. This evolution in the representations of shorn women can be ascribed to the evolution in the identity and the roles attributed to women and to the persistence of the resistance myth in French collective memories of the war. Other factors such as the nature of sources, generational change and the social-politic context also exerted a certain influence.
