Previous issue date: 2009-06 / Esta dissertação descreve a mudança no perfil sociográfico dos ingressantes no curso técnico em agropecuária do Colégio Agrícola Nilo Peçanha e Colégio Técnico Agrícola Ildefonso Bastos Borges, no período de 2003 a 2008. O presente trabalho se beneficia da experiência de 4 anos do pesquisador como gestor financeiro do CANP e ainda considera a experiência do mesmo enquanto docente. A pesquisa consistiu em uma investigação documental e de campo. O trabalho documental constituiu-se em análise detalhada das fichas cadastrais do registro escolar dos últimos 5 anos das turmas de 1 ano do curso técnico em agropecuária. O trabalho de campo foi conduzido por meio da aplicação de questionário nas turmas de 1 ano de ambas as insti tuições e entrevista semiestruturada com os gestores. As mudanças constatadas mediante a análise dos questionários respondidos pelos ingressantes de 2008, quando confrontadas com os dados obtidos das fichas cadastrais, são expressas mediante apresentação de tabelas e gráficos, que revelam a necessidade de adequações nas instituições para atender as demandas desta nova clientela, visto que o antigo público masculino de origem rural e faixa etária mais elevada, atualmente é substituído pelo público feminino de origem urbana e mais jovem. A pesquisa também revela as implicações para a gestão escolar destas mudanças e sugere a utilização de ferramentas que visam subsidiar, por meio dos dados aqui apresentados, a elaboração de planejamentos futuros, no projeto político pedagógico, no plano de desenvolvimento institucional que mais se aproximem das realidades e especificidades de suas comunidades escolares, de modo a capacitar o jovem a enfrentar os desafios no mundo do trabalho. ____________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This dissertation describes the change in the profile sociographic of the ingressantes in the technical course in farming of the Agricultural School Nilo Peçanha and Agricultural Technical School Ildefonso Bastos Borges in the period from 2003 to 2008. The present work if it benefits of the experience of the author's 4 years as financial manager of CANP, and it still considers the existence of the same while educational. The research consisted of a documental investigation and of field. The research consisted of a documental investigation and of field. The documental work was constituted in detailed analysis of the cadastral records of the school registration of the last 5 years of the 1° year-old groups. The field work was driven through the questionnaire application in the groups of 1° year of both institutions and interview semi-structured with the managers. The changes verified by the analysis of the questionnaires answered by the ingressantes of 2008, when confronted with the obtained data of the cadastral records, they are expressed by the presentation of tables and graphs, that you/they reveal the need of adaptations in the institutions to assist the demands of this new clientele. Because the old masculine public of rural origin and higher age group, today it is substituted by the feminine public of urban and younger origin. The research also lifts the implications for the school administration of these changes and he/she suggests the use of tools that you/they seek to subsidize through the data here presented the elaboration of future plannings, in the pedagogic political project, in the plan of institutional development that more they approach the realities and their school communities' specificities, in way to qualify the youth to face the challenges in the world of the work.
