Frisörelever har svårt att klara frisörbranschens gesällprov och antalet utdelade gesällbrev blir färre med resultat av ett ökat antal obehöriga frisörer verksamma i frisörbranschen.Syftet med studien var att ta reda på hur samarbetet mellan skola, handledare på arbetsplats och branschorganisationen ser ut samt att ta fram förslag till skolan hur skolan kan förbättra samarbete, kommunikation och information.Metoden som användes för att hämta materialet var kvalitativt med intervjuer av medlemmar från Svenska Frisörföretagarna och enkäter ifyllda av frisörer som har erfarenhet av att vara handledare åt elever under deras utbildning.Resultatet visade på brister med informations och kommunikationen mellan skola, handledare och branschorganisation. Samarbete mellan dessa kan förbättras och utvecklas till det bättre. Ett litet samarbete fanns mellan skola och branschorganisation men inte tillräckligt tillfredställande. Det fanns ett behov och vilja av att förbättra den delen. Samarbetet mellan skola och handledarna mindre bra och det fanns stort behov av att förbättra det. Handledarnas förtroende får skola och elever var negativt och skolan skulle kunna förbättra det med mer information och bättre kommunikation. / Students who are studying to become hairdressers find it difficult to manage the exam and the amount of distributed certificates are decreasing with the result of a more unqualified professional category.The aim of the study was to find out how the co-operation between the school, the supervisors and the business works but also to form proposals for the school how to improve the co-operation, the communication and the information.The method that was used in order to acquire the material was qualitative, based on interviews with members of the Swedish trade organization but also by inquiries made by experienced hairdressers, with a background as supervisors.The result showed lack of information and communication between the school, the supervisors and the business. The co-operation between the school and the business did exist. However, it was not satisfying enough. There existed a need and a desire to improve this particular part. The co-operation between the school and the supervisors was less satisfying and there existed a great need of wanting to improve this part. There existed a negative confidence among the supervisors towards the school and the students, which could be improved by more information and a better communication given by the school itself.
