Denna undersökning ämnar att svara på frågor kring hur strukturella och tekniska matematiska förmågor används i fysikundervisning vid svenska gymnasieskolor. För att svara på detta gjordes en systematisk observationsstudie av ett flertal lektioner hos tre lärare i en stadsdel i södra Sverige. Undersökningen visade ett fokus på tekniska förmågor vid undervisning av Fysik 1, samt att sättet som lärare kommunicerar strukturell matematik i Fysik 1 och 2 ej uppmanar elever att utöva den själva. / In this study, we aimed to answer questions regarding how structural and technical mathematics are used in physics education at upper secondary schools in Sweden. To answer these questions, a systematic observational approach was used. The research was carried out by observing three teachers in a city district in southern Sweden. We suggest that a focus on technical mathematics was observed in the teaching of Physics 1, and that the way teachers communicate structural mathematical skills in both Physics 1 and 2 does not encourage students to use them themselves.
