Objetivo de la Investigación: Determinar la influencia del Método Investigativo en el desarrollo de habilidades para investigar en una muestra de estudiantes de la Asignatura de Cirugía I de la Escuela Académico Profesional de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Nacional “Jorge Basadre Grohmann” de Tacna. Métodos: En una muestra de cuarenta estudiantes y con un diseño pre-experimental se aplicó el Método Investigativo en sesiones de aprendizaje de la Asignatura de Cirugía I de Quinto Año, IX Ciclo, I Semestre -2007. Se aplicó un pre test para medir el nivel de desarrollo de habilidades para investigar en las dimensiones: observa y problematiza, planifica, recoge y organiza información, interpreta información y comunica resultados. Luego después de las sesiones de aprendizaje con el Método Investigativo, se aplicó un post test para medir el nivel de mejoramiento de las habilidades para investigar por efecto del método indicado. Como prueba de significación estadística para la prueba hipótesis se aplicó la t de Student con un nivel de significación p menor a 0.05 %. Resultados: El procesamiento estadístico de los datos recopilados en el pre y post test permitió evidenciar la influencia significativa del Método Investigativo en el mejoramiento del nivel de desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas para realizar con éxito las tareas de investigación. / I confer an objective aspect to of the Investigation: Determining the influence of the Método Investigativo in the abilities development to carry out an investigation in students's sign of Cirugía I's Asignatura of Medicina Humana's Escuela Académico Profesional of Tacna's University Nacional Jorge Basadre Grohmann. Methods: In a sign of forty students and with a design pre - experimental he applied the Method Investigativo in sessions learning of Cirugía I's Asignatura of Fifth Año, IX Ciclo, I Semestre - 2007. Next after the sessions with the Método Investigativo learning, he applied himself one after test to measure the improvement level of the abilities to carry out an investigation for the method's effect indicated. As a proof of statistical significance in order to the test hypothesis he applied Student's t with a significance level p. Aftermaths: the data's statistical processing he permitted recopilados in the pre and after test evidencing the significant cognitive- abilities influence of the Método Investigativo in the improvement of the development level to accomplish successfully tasks fact-finding.
