SUMMARY Gytis ACHALAJA The Effect of Agricultural Policy on Grain Prices Final work of Master studies, 75 pages, 11 figures, 11 tables, 43 references, 5 appendixes, Lithuanian language. Research object – political means making influence on grain prices. Research aim – find out and evaluate influence of agrarian policy on grain prices. Objectives: • inspect principles of grain prices formation and instruments of implementation in Lithuania; • evaluate substantial agrarian policy variations after Lithuania joined EU; • inspect and compare means of grain market regulation: intervention, support system, regulation of grain import and export; Research hypothesis – grain price instability is the main cause of producers income range. Research methods – analysis and synthesis, classification of statistics, the grouping of statistics facts, monographic, logical and graphical modelling methods. In the way of studies of Lithuanian and abroad authors’ literature, statutes of The Republic of Lithuania and the other documents about grain and its market, FAOSTAT, EUROSTAT databases in this final project are established and described the development, regulation and perspectives of grain market in the world, EU and Lithuania.
