Previous issue date: 2017-01-23 / This dissertation is built in two volumes: the novel Rodolfo and the critical essay about its writing. It is a known fact it's impossible to create from nothing: every artist builds on their references, their experience and their cultural repertory to make their own work. In the essay, I seek reflection on my external influences and on the internal creation movements that articulates and transformed those stimuli. Based on a diary I kept for two years, I reflect on cinema, silence, fairy tales and politics to embrace part of the fiction work universe. In this essay, I try to undergo an intimate exam of my creating process building the novel, analyzing issue like character creation, narrator creation and road stories, besides writing challenges. / Esta disserta??o se constr?i em dois volumes: o romance Rodolfo e o ensaio cr?tico sobre sua composi??o. Sabe-se que ? imposs?vel criar a partir de nada: todo artista parte de suas refer?ncias, suas experi?ncias e seu repert?rio cultural para construir as pr?prias obras. No ensaio, busco refletir sobre influ?ncias externas e sobre os movimentos internos de cria??o que articularam e transformaram esses est?mulos na escrita do romance. A partir de um di?rio, ou caderno de anota??es, mantido ao longo de dois anos, trago reflex?es sobre cinema, sil?ncio, contos de fadas e pol?tica para abarcar parte do universo da obra ficcional. Neste ensaio, busco realizar um exame ?ntimo do percurso de cria??o do romance, analisando pontos como constru??o de personagens, constru??o do narrador e road stories, al?m de desafios da escrita.
