Previous issue date: 2006 / O modelo de Agenda-Setting destaca-se como uma das principais linhas
investigatórias sobre os efeitos cognitivos dos meios de comunicação de massa. Após 30 anos
de pesquisa e centenas publicações relevantes sobre o tema, este trabalho vem contribuir para
a construção de um mapa evolutivo da hipótese. A metodologia utilizada compreende a
seleção das publicações mais pertinentes, a identificação dos tópicos estruturais, o seu
cruzamento com as abordagens teóricas e a análise do desenvolvimento do modelo. Ao final,
o trabalho apresenta um quadro sintético da trajetória da hipótese, desde 1972. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The model of Agenda-Setting stands out as one of the majors investigative lines on
the subject of the cognitive effects of the media. After 30 years of research and hundreds of
important publications about the theme, this paper adds up for building an evolution map of
the model of Agenda-Setting. The methodology comprises the selection of the most relevant
publications, the identification of the structural issues, their crossing with theoretical
approaches and the analysis of the research development. At the end, this paper presents a
summed frame of the hypothesis path since 1972.
