Over the centuries the family always changed. As L. Stoune states, there were three turning points. First – Open lineage family was influenced by society. Second turning point – set roots for the Restricted Patriarchal Nuclear Family appearance. During the third turning point a Closed Domesticated Nuclear family appeared. These turning points influenced the relationship between family members, communication, influence of society towards them and etc. all these tendencies reached The Great Kingdom of Lithuania. The city of Joniskis was no exception.
