Previous issue date: 2016 / Esta dissertação visa esclarecer a afirmação de Hans-Georg Gadamer que encerra a primeira parte de sua obra Verdade e método (1960) segundo a qual a estética deve ser absorvida na hermenêutica. Através dessa afirmação busca-se destacar a modificação que sucede ao pensamento sobre a arte ao retirá-la de uma fundação estética para pensá-la na dimensão hermenêutica. Para isso reconstruímos a crítica de Gadamer em relação à estética kantiana, entendida como a matriz daquilo que constitui o problema do pensamento estético da arte, a saber, a subjetivação radical da estética, bem como da consequente formação da chamada consciência estética. A superação da estética é, então, empreendida pela hermenêutica com a exposição de uma ontologia da obra de arte. Através dos conceitos característicos da hermenêutica filosófica gadameriana, tais como os conceitos de jogo, de apresentação e de sentido (Sinn), visamos neste trabalho mostrar como a arte pode ser pensada para além dos conceitos da estética, a fim de legitimar uma experiência da arte que não se realiza na subjetividade do artista ou do espectador, mas que se dá como um acontecimento no qual um todo de sentido se apresenta e requer ser compreendido, interpretado. É essa afirmação que leva a arte a ser melhor compreendida na dimensão hermenêutica, enquanto uma compreensão ontológica da obra de arte, que falta ao pensamento estético da arte. Veremos como, para a hermenêutica, a arte não mais se restringe à subjetividade, mas é pensada como um processo ontológico no qual algo vem a ser.<br> / Abstract : This dissertation aims to elucidate the affirmation of Hans-Georg Gadamer that concludes the first part of his work Truth and method (1960) according to which the aesthetics has to be absorbed into hermeneutics. Through this affirmation it seeks to accentuate the modification that happens to the thinking about art by withdrawing its aesthetic foundation to think of it in the hermeneutic dimension. Therefore, we reconstructed the criticism of Gadamer regarding the Kantian aesthetics, understood like the matrix of what constitutes the problem of the aesthetic thinking of the art, to wit, the radical subjectivization of aesthetics, as well as of the consequent formation of the called aesthetic consciousness. The overcoming of the aesthetics is, then, undertaken by hermeneutics with the exposition of an ontology of the work of art. Through the characteristic concepts of the Gadamerian philosophical hermeneutics, such as the concepts of play, presentation and meaning (Sinn), we aim in this work to show how art can be thought beyond the concepts from aesthetics, in order to legitimize an experience of art that does not take place in the subjectivity of the artist or of the spectator, but that happens as an event in which a meaningful whole presents itself and claims to be understood, interpreted. It is this claim that leads to better understanding of art, i. e. a hermeneutic understanding, as an ontological understanding of the work of art, that is absent from the aesthetic thinking. We will see how, for hermeneutics, art is no more restricted to the subjectivity, but it is thought as an ontological process in which something comes into being.
