O objetivo geral foi analisar a infraestrutura turística do município de Frederico Westphalen. Para isso, buscaram-se dados referentes ao turismo regional. Percebeu-se a infraestrutura a partir dos principais acessos externos do município para se chegar à infraestrutura interna turística e de apoio ao turismo. Na pesquisa bibliográfica, os temas abordados foram relacionados com o turismo, os tipos de turismo, a demanda turística, as motivações para o turismo e atrativos, Ministério do Turismo, infraestrutura básica e infraestrutura turística, o planejamento ambiental, turístico, regional e urbano, impactos sociais econômicos e ambientais causados pelas atividades turísticas; a relação turística entre espaço urbano e rural; a paisagem e o turismo considerando as suas características e a paisagem em relação à atividade turística. Os procedimentos metodológicos e as técnicas utilizadas foram: pesquisa de campo com registros fotográficos e anotações de informações baseadas em planilhas com roteiros de análise, visita exploratória com entrevistas na secretaria de turismo do município e guias turísticos, pesquisa descritiva e bibliográfica. Assim, foi possível se diagnosticarem as principais potencialidades turísticas do município. Os dados foram reunidos em uma planilha-base para verificar a existência de infraestrutura em cada setor/indicador em que se analisaram as ameaças, as forças e as oportunidades de cada potencial, a acessibilidade urbana nos potenciais, estrutura urbana, mobiliário urbano, equipamentos, manutenção, segurança e vegetação. Com base no cruzamento de informações foi possível identificar em quais potenciais turísticos existe infraestrutura turística. Os resultados são apresentados com um diagnóstico da infraestrutura em cada potencial percebendo as deficiências e necessidades de intervenções, e proposições passíveis de serem adotadas pelo poder público do município para melhor desenvolver a atividade turística. / This research was developed in the city of Frederico Westphalen (RS), linked to their regional integration. The overall objective was to analyze the tourism infrastructure of the city of Frederico Westphalen. For this, data were sought for the regional tourism. It was noticed from the infrastructure of major external access of the city to reach the domestic and tourist infrastructure to support tourism. In literature, the themes were related to tourism, the types of tourism, tourism demand, the motivations and attractions for tourism, the Tourism Ministry, basic infrastructure and tourism infrastructure, environmental planning, tourism, regional and urban social economic and environmental impacts caused by tourism activities, the relationship between urban space tourism and rural tourism considering the landscape and its features and the landscape in relation to tourism. The methodological procedures and techniques used were: field research with photographs and notes information in spreadsheets with scripts based analysis, exploratory visit with interviews in the city tourist office and tourist guides, and descriptive literature. Thus, it was possible to diagnose the main tourist potential of the municipality. Data were gathered in a spreadsheet-based to verify the existence of infrastructure in each sector / indicator which analyzed the threats, the strengths and opportunities of each potential accessibility potential in urban, urban structure, urban furniture, equipment, maintenance, safety and vegetation. Based on the intersection of information which could identify potential tourist tourist infrastructure there. The results are presented with a diagnosis of realizing the potential in each infrastructure deficiencies and needs for intervention, and propositions that can be adopted by the municipal government authorities to further develop the tourism industry.
