Previous issue date: 2004 / Resumo: Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo realizar uma reeducação psicopedagógica em crianças que apresentavam dificuldade na escrita, com atividades psicomotoras e jogos de regras, enfatizando a estruturação espacial, aspectos cognitivos e psicomotores. Participaram da pesquisa 32 sujeitos (16 sujeitos do grupo experimental e 16 do grupo controle), entre 7 e 8 anos de idade, que freqüentavam a 2a série do primeiro grau de uma escola estadual da cidade de Campinas. Inicialmente, foi realizada a avaliação de 35 sujeitos com os seguintes instrumentos: avaliação da escrita, elaborada pela pesquisadora; provas de lateralidade e estruturação, constantes do exame Psicomotor proposto por Oliveira; e a avaliação cognitiva através da prova Piagetiana das coordenadas horizontal e vertical, com o objetivo de selecionar os dois grupos. Os sujeitos do grupo experimental foram, então, submetidos a um programa de reeducação psicopedagógica durante três meses, envolvendo atividades psicomotoras e jogos de regras, de forma individual e em duplas. Ao final, todos os sujeitos da pesquisa foram reavaliados seguindo a mesma metodologia. A análise dos dados foi obtida a partir da interpretação das estatísticas descritivas e qualitativas. Os resultados demonstraram uma melhora significativa no desempenho em escrita e estruturação espacial das crianças que passaram pelo processo de reeducação, em comparação com as do grupo controle / Abstract: This research has had as an objective to conduct a psycho-pedagogical reeducation in children who presented difficulties in writing, by means of psychomotor activities and games of rules, emphasizing spatial structuring and cognitive and psychomotor aspects. 32 subjects, (16 subjects of the experimental group and 16 of the control group), from 7 to 8 years old, who attended the 2nd grade of a fundamental state school in the city of Campinas-SP, have participated in the research. Initially, with the objective of selecting the two groups, an evaluation of [35] subjects was conducted with the following instruments: a writing evaluation elaborated by the researcher; proofs of laterality and spatial structuring verified in the Psychomotor exam proposed by Oliveira; and a cognitive evaluation through Piaget's proof of vertical and horizontal coordinates. The experimental group subjects were, then, submitted to a psycho-pedagogical reeducation for three months, involving psychomotor activities and games of rules, both in individual and two-by-two forms. At the end, following the same methodology, ali the subjects of the research were reevaluated. An analysis of the data was obtained from the interpretation of the descriptive and qualitative statistics. The results have demonstrated a significant improvement in the writing and the spatial structuring performances of the children who went through the process of reeducation, in comparison to the children of the control grou / Doutorado / Doutor em Educação
