This study is based on qualitative interviews with high school students. The purpose of this study was to find out what possible improvement suggestions the interviewed students had about the teaching of religion. According to some researchers, some of the problems lie in the textbooks that students read. The result shows that most of the students considered religious education in high school to be boring and uninteresting. The result also shows that the students found the lesson more interesting if the teaching was more fun. The conclusion of this work was that, according to the interviewed high school students, religious education can be improved by visiting holy places such as churches, mosques and temples.
