Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur vuxna personer med reumatoid artritupplever och påverkas av den sjukdomsrelaterade smärtan och rörelsenedsättningen.Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie, vilken inspirerats av Goodmans sjusteg. Resultatets underlag är 11 vetenskapliga artiklar. Dessa granskades först eftermodifierade protokoll av Willman m fl, därefter av ett modifierat protokoll avHellzén m fl. Resultatet presenteras under fem teman. De beskriver hur personernaupplever smärtan och rörelsenedsättningen, påverkas i det dagliga livet, uppleverberoende av andra, hur de påverkas psykiskt samt svårigheter i att kunna planeraframtiden. Detta resultat kan öka en sjuksköterskas insikt i hur sjukdomen påverkarden drabbade. Förhoppningen är att skapa en djupare förståelse som kan leda tilllämpligt bemötande och god omvårdnad. / The aim of this study was to investigate how adults with Rheumatoid Arthritisexperience and the impact of the pain and the functional disability related to thedisease. The method used was a literature review, inspired by Goodman’s sevensteps. The ground work of the results is 11 scientific articles. At first the articles werechecked by using a modified protocol by Willman et al. After that a modifiedprotocol by Hellzén et al were used. The results are presented under five themes.They describe how people experience the pain and functional disability, impact ofdaily life, experience of interdependence, the psychical impact and the difficulty inplanning the future. This result can increase the nurse knowledge in how the diseaseaffects the person with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The expectation is to create a deeperunderstanding which can lead to a proper confrontation and a good nursing care.
