Social Media: Hur påverkas turisten av social media?

Kadrić, Irma, Kha, Eva, Mämmi, Sandra January 2015 (has links)

Rönnholm, Malin, Jonsson, Natascha January 2015 (has links)

Strandner, Sara, Wiberg, Weronica January 2008 (has links)
<p>Working life changes, just like the rest of today’s society, at an accelerated pace. It is through changes and challenges that human beings develop, personally and professionally. Changes are often met by resistance. The purpose of this study is to see how different factors influence individuals’ experiences of change. Interviews were performed with eight individuals within a company that is experiencing an organizational change. The question at issue for this study is how different factors can increase or reduce individuals’ possible resistance that may occur when a change in process is taking place. Resistance has, for a long time been viewed as a very important factor that may affect the success of change, in previous research resistance has been viewed as something negative, something that has to been fought and conquered in order for change to succeed. Today’s research shows results of resistance being viewed for what it really is; a complex multifaceted phenomenon that arises on account of many different factors. As a result of the study we have seen that insufficient and poorly backed up information is an obstacle in the way of a good changing process. When the employees are allowed to be a part of developing suggestions for change, motivation increases. When information is given about upcoming changes, it is important to be clear in order to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.</p>

Spelberoende

<p>We have written this paper about gambling problems with the purpose to give us and all of our readers a sense of understanding. With the term understanding we mean that we all know what type of activity gambling is but not a lot of us know how it feels for individuals that due to their addiction play almost every day and sometimes several times a day. By somehow trying to explain what kind of experiences people who engage in gambling feel, we hope that we somehow can increase our knowledge towards these persons and towards gambling.</p><p> We are well informed that the content of our particular subject that we’ve chosen is massive and that more research needs to be done about or subject since there are no simple answers that can explain gambling behavior so easily. But by giving it an effort to at least give a glance of the many reasons of how they feel when they gamble we hope to find some comprehension for gamblers and people that suffer from gambling problems. </p><p>Our presentation of problem is to simply try to explain what kind of feelings gamblers experience when they place a bet and what consequences their gambling has led to. And by reading lots of books about our subject and by interviewing people that gamble we hope to come to some conclusions for such behaviour. When it comes to interviewing people that does gamble we deliberately chose to interview different types of gamblers just to show the broadness that does exist among people that engage in gambling activity. We did this with the simple purpose that it gives us a stronger sense of comprehension about gamblers. We also hope to insight the society about gambling problems and that their consequences does not just affect the gambler but also family and friends and when it comes to treatment due to gambling problems such help should be provided for all. </p><p>Gambling activities is a matter that affects all of society since its becoming a stronger part of our everyday life since many of us engage in the chase of “fast money”. But one must remember that this is an addiction that is much harder to knowledge since many of us can play in the comfort of our one’s homes which means that it is harder to detect. </p><p>We hope that by you reading this paper you will increase your knowledge about this group or maybe if you know a person that does gamble you will understand him or her better and come to the realization that he or she needs help for her addiction.</p>

Påverkan av skuggor från vindkraftverk

Jalming, Ylva, Björkman, Johanna January 2009 (has links)
<p>To get rid of our dependence on fossil fuels we need to make use of renewable energy sources like wind power to a greater extent. Even though wind power is a renewable energy source it can still cause some problems for the close environment. </p><p>One of the problems is shadow flickering. When the sun is low and the wind blows in a direction so that the rotor blades are positioned at right angles to the sunbeams and ‘cut’ the sunbeams off. The beholder will see this as a flashing light, comparable to driving a car or going by train through an alley of trees. This shadow flickering experienced is aggravating for people living in the close surroundings of windmills. The research that has been done about how these shadows affect the people living close is insufficient. We hope that the result from this project can be used as a base for better judging on how people in the vicinity of windmills get affected by the shadows they are exposed to. Hopefully, this will simplify and speed up the application process for establishing new wind power plants. To calculate how many hours of shadow exposure the people in the close environment to the mills get, the windmill planning program WindPro 2.6 from EMD international A/S was used. The results were then compared to self reported disturbances by shadows collected in former epidemiological studies and have been presented mainly in diagrams. The study shows that there is a connection between shadow exposure and experienced disturbance. The disturbance seems to rely as much on the number of shadow hours as on the number of shadow occasions, most likely because these are usually closely related.</p>

Några elevers sätt att beskriva motivation

Andersson, Johanna January 2010 (has links)

Nässén, Joakim January 2012 (has links)
