Bakgrund: Skolsköterskor ska arbeta hälsofrämjande och förebyggande och verka för elevers rätt till likvärdig skolgång oavsett huvudman. Det har påvisats skillnader mellan möjligheter till att samverka mellan skolsköterskor anställda vid friskolor och kommunalaskolor vilket kan påverka skolsköterskors arbetssituation.Syfte: Att belysa privatanställda skolsköterskors upplevelser av samverkan med kommunal elevhälsa. Metod: Studien genomfördes med kvalitativ metod med induktiv ansats. Totalt nio intervjuer genomfördes i olika kommuner. Kvalitativ innehållsanalys genomfördes för analys av datamaterial.Resultat: Analysen ledde till ett tema; Delaktighet kring samverkan, två huvudkategorier: Utebliven samverkan och Önskan om samverkan. Huvudkategorierna mynnade sedan ut i fyra underkategorier: Att exkluderas, Bemötas med negativ attityd, Eget ansvar och initiativ, Positiva effekter av en god samverkan.Konklusion: Privatanställda skolsköterskors möjligheter till samverkan med kommunal elevhälsa är viktig för det förebyggande och hälsofrämjande arbetet. De tycks som att de privatanställda skolsköterskorna och deras elever är utlämnade till kommuners benägenhettill samverkan. För att möjliggöra samverkan mellan friskolor och kommunal elevhälsa behövs tydliga riktlinjer med syfte att bidra till elevers bästa, oavsett skolhuvudman. / Background: The school nurse shall work to promote health and prevent unhealth and work for an equal schooling regardless of the principal. Investigation has shown differences between independent schools and the municipality's schools, which can affect the school nurse's work situation.Aim: To illustrate experiences of privately employed school nurses about collaboration with the municipality's school health.Method: The study was conducted using a qualitative method with an inductive approach. A total of nine interviews were conducted in several municipality. The data was analysed with qualitative content analysis.Results: The analysis of the data material led to a theme; Participation of cooperation, two main categories: Missed collaboration and The wish for collaboration. The main categories then resulted in four subcategories: To be excluded, To be treated with a negative attitude, Own responsibility and initiative, Positive effects of a good collaboration.Conclusion: The privately employed school nurse possibility to cooperation with municipalities student health is important in the work to promote health and prevent unhealth. It perceived the privately employed school nurses and their students have been handed over to the municipalities' will for collaboration. To enable cooperation between independent school and the municipality´s schools students health clear guidelines are needed, with aim the students best, regardless school principal.
