The Vaporfly Effect: Innovation or Omitted Variables?

Thesis advisor: Christopher Maxwell / Nike claims that their shoes, the Nike Vaporfly 4%'s, will make you 4% faster in your next marathon. This claim is evaluated by way of econometric analysis of large scale, publicly sourced data.
