The project focuses around a new gymnasium for learning construction. The project aims to highlight the training conducted and spread knowledge about its meaning, to give the training a greater purpose than what it has today and to invite the public to participate. In addition to previous statements the vision is to combine new and existing into a whole, premises as well as features. The location in Sundbyberg is optimal to showcase education. The school premises should radiate authority and feel prior on the site this in hope of creating a strong sense of self-esteem around the education as in previous cases been unsecured. With attractive premises in attractive locations more will seek themselves to the program which today has few applicants. In addition to premises that fell prioritised large exhibition areas are created on the site meant for student work. Exhibition areas refers to full-scale projects as well as small-scale works. Thus increasing engagement and forming a stronger community among students of different orientations of education. The place is located in the north eastern Sundbyberg right next to the border of Solna. The place has excellent opportunities for communication in forms of subway, commuter rail, light rail and buses - Sundbyberg is a hub in the north of Stockholm which during the last ten years has become an attractive city in the city. The site is hilly and largely exploited. The sites highest and lowest point differs more than 10 meters and connects to two different roads on each side, Sturegatan at the lowest point and Prästgårdsgatan at the highest point. The scale is large, consisting of two buildings together creating an L shape. The low building and parking garage are removed and replaced by three different volumes of which only one is used to house the school. Apart from the school office space is added to the site. This in order to replace the space removed in order for the new buildings. / Projektet har som mål att belysa utbildningen och sprida kunskap om dess innebörd, att ge utbildningen ett större syfte än vad den har idag och att bjuda in allmänheten till att delta.Utöver ovanämda punkter är visionen att nytt och befintligt ska sammanflätas till en helhet, lokaler såväl som funktioner.Placeringen i Sundbyberg är optimal för att visa upp utbildningen. Bygggymnasiets lokaler ska utsråla auktoritet och kännas prioriterade på platsen. Detta i hopp om att skapa en stark självkänsla runt om utbildingen som i tidigare fall varit oprioriterad. Med attraktiva lokaler i attraktiva lägen kommer fler söka till byggutbildningen som idag har få sökande.Utöver prioriterade lokaler skapas stora utställningsytor på platsen tänkt för elevarbeten. Utsällningytorna avser fullskaliga arbeten såväl som småskaliga arbeten. På så vis ökar engagemanget och bildar en starkare gemenskap bland elever i olika inriktningar på utbildningen.Platsen är belägen i nord - östra sundbyberg precis intill gränsen mot Solna kommun. Platsen har utmärkta möjligheter till kommunikation i form av tunnelbana, pendeltåg, tvärbana och bussar - Sundbyberg är ett nav i norra Stockholm som under senaste deceniet blivit en attraktiv stad i staden.Tomten är kuperad och till stor del exploaterad. Tomtens högsta och lägsta punkt skiljer sig drygt 10 meter och ansluter till två olika vägar på varsin sida, Sturegatan vid den lägsta punkten och Prästgårdsgatan vid den högsta punkten. Skalan på platsen är stor, bestående av två lammellhus som tillsammmans bildar en L form. Det låga lammelhuset och parkeringsgaraget tas bort och ersätts till synes av tre olika volymer varav endast en används till byggymnasiet. Utöver Byggymnasiet adderas yta för kontor. Detta för att kunna ersätta den befintliga yta som avlägsnas.
