Systemförvaltningsmodeller : verklighetsbeskrivning eller idealiserad bild? / System management models : real or idealized image description?

This study will shed light on the subject of system management and system management models. It is important that everyone within an administrative organization understand business objectives and needs of the users who work with the systems. It is vital for the activity to form a structured approach for its management, which includes a system management model. Every company has its individual system management model that is tailored to support their management of a business IT systems. According to Brandt (2000), a system management system model is defined as "an idealized image of how you want the system management work is conducted". My purpose of this study was to examine whether models of system functions as a true description or an idealized image of a business. Study questions “How to communicate IT department and business with each other by a system management model?" and "How experience management organization that cooperation between them will work?" are designed to lead to a response to the objective of this study. I have chosen to conduct the study based on a qualitative approach. The study will be conducted according to case study methodology. That is to say that I am in a profound way will examine a specific case, an organization. The selected theory and the empirical moments are conducted among respondents of the company and will be analyzed and linked to my discussion chapter. This will then lead to answer the research questions I chose, which then is explained in my conclusions.
