Seeking to solve the problems of disabled people, it has to be admitted, that disabled people are the same members of the society with the same rights and the same possibilities to educate, to work, to spend their spare time, to take part in social, political and community life.
Art (musical, visual, drama, movement) expression is a very attractive form of socialization. The social roles and the attached labels such as ,,disabled”, ,,social worker”, ,,educator” are forgotten. They become equivalent artists and creators.
The object of study – the development of possibilities of adult educator’s activity when methods of Art Therapy as self – education are applied to mentally disabled people.
The aim of this study ��� to analyse Art Therapy as a mean of communication between adult educator and mentally disabled people.
The goals of the study:
1. To analyse scientific literature and documents.
2. To carry out the theoretical analysis of adult educator’s work specificity.
3. To analyse the methods of Art Therapy and find out the possibilities to applay them to mentally disabled people during their self – education process.
4. To carry out the research about the heeds of Art Therapy in Mental Health Centre.
Methods:
