Orientador: Maria Suzana de Stefano Menin / Banca: Claudia Maria de Lima / Banca: Luciene Regina Paulino Tognetta / Resumo: O presente trabalho trata-se de uma pesquisa de Mestrado em Educação vinculada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação da FCT/ Unesp na linha de pesquisa "Processos Formativos, Diferença e Valores". Traz uma abordagem sobre "bullying na mídia televisiva", sendo que esse tipo de violência tem sido amplamente pesquisado no Brasil, nos últimos anos, em consequência da sua ocorrência nas relações entre crianças e jovens, especialmente no espaço escolar. Por se tratar de um assunto de interesse também da mídia, o tema tem sido pauta de diversas programações exibidas na televisão, evidenciado, principalmente, casos que resultem em grandes tragédias. Contudo, observamos que há poucos estudos relacionados a bullying cujo enfoque seja sua exibição na mídia televisiva. Assim, afirmamos a relevância desse objeto de estudo e propomos esta pesquisa com o intuito de analisar o que os adolescentes compreendem sobre o que é veiculado na televisão a respeito de bullying e como isso pode influenciar suas concepções relativas a práticas na escola sobre prevenção e combate a esse fenômeno. Para tanto, em um primeiro momento, realizamos um aprofundamento teórico acerca do tema, e, posteriormente, aplicamos questionário a adolescentes de quatro escolas do Ensino Fundamental II (6º ao 9º ano), sendo duas públicas e duas particulares. Após a coleta de dados, analisamos o material, categorizamos as respostas e as interpretamos qualitativamente, com base em autores que estudam bullying (AVILÉS, 2006, 2013; FANTE, 2005; FANTE; PEDRA, 2008; PEREIRA, 2009; TOGNETTA, 2005, 2013; entre outros) e, ainda, pesquisadores que tratam sobre mídia televisiva e/ ou suas mediações (DANTAS, 2008; GOMES, 2004; GOMIDE, 2009; MARTÍN-BARBERO, 1992, 2009; RANGEL, 2010; entre outros)... / Abstract: The present work is a study of Master in Education linked to the Graduate Program of FCT / UNESP in the research line "Formative Processes, Difference and Values". It brings a discussion about "bullying in television media", being this type of violence widely researched in Brazil in recent years as a result of its frequency in the relations between children and adolescents, especially at school. Because it is a subject of media interest as well, it has been the subject of various tariff schedules displayed on television, evidencing mainly cases that result in big tragedies. However, we observe that there are few studies related to bullying whose focus is its display on the television media. Thus, we affirm the relevance of this subject matter and propose this research in order to analyze what adolescents understand about what is displayed on television about bullying and how it can influence their conceptions regarding practices in school about preventing and combating this phenomenon. For this, at first, we conducted a theoretical study on the subject, and subsequently, we applied questionnaire to adolescents from four Secondary School (from 6th to 9th grade), being two public and two private schools. After collecting data, we analyzed the material, categorized the responses and interpreted qualitatively, based on authors who study bullying (AVILÉS, 2006, 2013; FANTE, 2005; FANTE; PEDRA, 2008; PEREIRA, 2009; TOGNETTA, 2005, 2013; among others) and also researchers who deal with television media and/ or its mediations (DANTAS, 2008; GOMES, 2004; GOMIDE, 2009; MARTÍN-BARBERO, 1992, 2009; RANGEL, 2010; among others)... / Mestre
