This exam thesis that you hold in your hands deals with the search for suitable textsthat a teacher of German as a foreign language can read with the pupils andstudents. It examines what tips the textbooks give for teaching and how readingsocialization and the enjoyment of reading can be supported. This thesis alsoincludes a study of the texts that are not in the textbooks, but which German teachersin Sweden read with their pupils and students.
