Studiens syfte var att undersöka relationen mellan alkoholkonsumtion och utsatthet, även skillnader i låg och hög grad av alkoholkonsumtion och nivå av utsatthet mellan och inom män och kvinnor. Studiens data utgår från RESUMÉ-studien, 2,500 unga vuxna mellan 20 till 24 år (53% kvinnor och 47% män) deltog. Resultatet visar en relation mellan alkoholkonsumtion och utsatthet. För män finns signifikant skillnad mellan låg och hög grad av alkoholkonsumtion vid fysisk utsatthet och egendomsbrott. För kvinnor finns signifikant skillnad mellan låg och hög grad av alkoholkonsumtion vid sexuell och verbal utsatthet samt egendomsbrott. Män med hög alkoholkonsumtion hade blivit mer utsatta för egendomsbrott och fysiskt än kvinnor. Kvinnor med hög alkoholkonsumtion hade blivit mer sexuellt och verbalt utsatta än män. / This study investigates the relationship between alcohol consumption and victimization, differences in low and high degrees of alcohol consumption and level of victimization between and within genders. Data came from the RESUMÉ-study, which includes 2,500 young men (47%) and women (53%) ages 20-24 years. Results showed an association between alcohol consumption and victimization. For men there is a significant difference between degree of alcohol consumption and physical victimization and property crimes. For women there is a significant difference between degree of alcohol consumption and sexual and verbal victimization and property crimes. Men with high alcohol consumption had experienced more property crimes and physical victimization than women. Women with high alcohol consumption had been more sexually and verbal victimized than men.
