Saving water at home : Creating new water habits for young adults living in Sweden / Spara vatten hemma

Water is a finite resource that we humans depend on to survive. Despite this, most people living in Scandinavia take clean drinkable water for granted. When a resource doesn’t cost much, and we have access to it 24/7, we can easily forget how limited the world’s water resources are. We need to be modest with it and value water more than ever before. Because if we don’t shed light on this topic now and act, we might not have the same water luxury in the future. This project focuses on young adults between 18-30 living in rental apartments in Sweden. How can we make this target group more aware of their water consumption? My goal is to raise awareness about this global challenge by making the amount of water young Swedish people consume every day more visible. It is my hope to reduce water consumption at home through design.
