Titel: Den interna kommunikationen - En fallstudie om hur det kommuniceras internt mellan olika hierarkiska nivåer Syfte: Syftet med studien är att studera kommunikationen som sker internt på fallföretaget mellan de olika stegen i hierarkin, genom att ta hänsyn till valet av kommunikationskanal som finns tillgängliga för respektive aktörer i hierarkin. Metod: Studien utfördes med en abduktiv forskningsansats, en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod har tillämpats för att kunna samla in empiri. Datainsamlingen skedde på fallföretaget genom intervjuer som har utförts med aktörer på olika nivåer i hierarkin. 34 personer intervjuades enskilt, de som har deltagit i studien är; 1 driftchef, 3 lagerchefer, 10 arbetsledare och 20 medarbetare. Ad hoc metod användes för att analysera den insamlade empirin för att sedan välja ut relevant information som har kunnat besvara på forskningsfrågorna samt uppfylla studiens syfte. Resultat och bidrag: Studiens resultat är att valet av kommunikationskanal varierar beroende på vilken plats som aktören har i hierarkin. Ju högre man befinner sig i hierarkin desto mer tillgång finns det till olika kommunikationskanaler. Resultatet visade att de som är lägre i hierarkin inte har användning för vissa kanaler på grund av det arbete som de utför. Bidraget med studien är att analysera internkommunikationen på fallföretaget och kartlägga vilka kommunikationskanaler som finns tillgängliga internt. Förslag till fortsatt forskning: Studien ger förslag att undersöka orsaken till att det inte finns ett bredare intresse längre ner i hierarkin när det gäller informationsspridning. Nyckelord: Intern kommunikation, kommunikationskanaler, vertikal kommunikation, formell och informell kommunikation. / Abstract Summary Title: Internal communication – A case study on how it is communicated internally between different hierarchical levels Aim: The purpose of the study is to study how it is communicated internally between the different various steps in the hierarchy in a company, considering the choice of communication channel that is available to each person in the hierarchy. Method: The study was conducted with an abductive research approach where a qualitative research method has been applied to be able to collect empirical data. The data collection took place at a case company where researchers interviewed various employees at different levels in the hierarchy. 35 people were interviewed individually, of which one was operations manager, 3 warehouse managers, 10 supervisors and 20 employees. Ad hoc method for analysis was used to analyze the collected data and then relevant information that can answer the research questions were selected. Conclusions and contributions: The result of the study is that the choice of communication channel used by each employee to communicate internally varies depending on where the employee is in the hierarchy. The higher the hierarchy is, the more access you have to different communication channels. The result showed that those who are lower in the hierarchy do not use certain channels because of the work they are doing. The study's contribution is that it analyzes the internal communication at the company and maps out which communication channels are available internally for each employee when he or she wants to communicate. Proposals for continued research: The study proposes to investigate the reason why there is no broader interest in the hierarchy when it comes to spreading of information.
