Relación entre sexismo ambivalente y violencia de pareja íntima según nivel educativo

Este estudio pretende analizar la relación entre el Sexismo Ambivalente y la Violencia de
Pareja Íntima y, además, indagar si existen diferencias según el nivel educativo de hombres
trabajadores de una empresa metalmecánica. Se utilizó la Escala de Sexismo Ambivalente
de Glick y Fiske revisada por Cruz, Zempoaltecatl y Correa y el CTS-2 (Conflict Tactics
Scale), adaptada al contexto peruano por Vara. Participaron 38 hombres convivientes o
casados, mayores de 18 años. El Sexismo Benevolente correlaciona solo con la Coerción
Sexual, mientras que el Sexismo Hostil se asocia de manera directa con el Ataque
Psicológico. Respecto al nivel educativo, se encontraron mayores niveles de Sexismo
Benevolente, Ataque Físico y Coerción Sexual en los hombres con menor grado de
instrucción. / This study aims to analyze the relation between Ambivalent Sexism and Intimate Partner
Violence and investigates whether there are differences according to educational level, in
male employees at metal fabricating company. The study used Glick and Fiske’s
Ambivalent Sexism Scale in its reviewed version by Cruz, Zempoaltecatl and Correa, and
the Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS-2) which has adapted by Vara for Peruvian context. The
study included 38 cohabiting and married men, 18 years of age and older. Benevolent
Sexism only correlated with Sexual Coercion, while Hostile Sexism is directly associated
with Psychological Attack. Higher levels of Benevolent Sexism, Sexual Coercion and
Physical Attack have found in men with lower educational status. / Tesis
