Actualmente “El cuidado del paciente” constituye uno de los pilares más importante del cuidado de la salud y para ello enfermería viene desplegando una serie de actividades tendientes a enfatizar la importancia del cuidado del paciente y familia basado en la relación de ayuda mutua que establece con el usuario Estos aspectos se inculcan en el estudiante dentro de su formación profesional, donde el docente asume un rol protagónico y decisivo en su formación, sin embargo algunas veces los estudiantes expresan sentirse descontentos porque las actividades que realizan están dirigidas a satisfacer necesidades físicas del paciente, otros refieren que algunos docentes dejan de lado el aspecto psicoemocional, social, cultural y espiritual propios de todo ser humano. El presente estudio “Percepción que tienen los estudiantes del cuarto año de enfermería de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos acerca de la Enseñanza del Cuidado Integral del Paciente”, tiene el objetivo de identificar la Percepción que tienen los estudiantes del cuarto año de enfermería acerca de la Enseñanza del Cuidado Integral del Paciente, cuyo propósito fue proporcionar información actualizada a las autoridades de la Escuela y del Departamento Académico de Enfermería para diseñar estrategias de capacitación sobre el cuidado dirigida al personal docente, así como formular estrategias para monitorizar y salvaguardar que éstos aspectos no sólo estén escritos en los syllabus y programas de enseñanza, sino que se desarrollen en la teoría y en la práctica. El método que se utilizó fue el descriptivo transversal. La población estuvo constituida por todos los estudiantes del 4to año. La técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento la escala Tipo Lickert modificada. Dentro de las conclusiones tenemos: La enseñanza del cuidado integral del paciente es de medianamente favorable a desfavorable 78.75% relacionado a que las docentes durante su enseñanza descuidan en la teoría y en la práctica los aspectos social y espiritual; sin embargo existe un porcentaje significativo de 21.25% que percibe que las docentes en su enseñanza prestan importancia a los aspectos fisiológico y psicológico. The method that was used was descriptive the cross-sectional one. The population was constituted by all the students of 4to year.
