TÍTULO: Edad, sexo, obesidad y paridad en colelitiásicos del Hospital Aurelio Díaz Ufano y Peral. SJL, Lima 2015 OBJETIVOS: Demostrar que la edad, sexo, obesidad y paridad tienen asociación con la colelitiasis en los pacientes del servicio de hospitalización de cirugía del Hospital Aurelio Díaz Ufano y Peral (HADUYP), 2015. MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS: Estudio de tipo correlacional. La muestra son las 375 historias clínicas, escogidas por muestreo por conveniencia, de los pacientes del servicio de hospitalización de cirugía del HADUYP desde enero a diciembre del año 2015. Los resultados son presentados por frecuencias absolutas y porcentaje; y la asociación demostrada por la prueba X2 y OR. RESULTADOS: En la muestra, 141 fueron pacientes que presentaban colelitiasis y 234, no tenían la enfermedad. Dentro del grupo de los que presentaban colelitiasis según cada variable: 66 (46.8%) fueron pacientes ≤ 40 años; y 75 (53.2%), >40 años; 117 (82.98%) fueron mujeres; y 24 (17.02%), hombres; 6 (4.26%) fueron pacientes con bajo de IMC; 51 (36.17%), con normal de IMC; 60 (42.55%), con sobrepeso; y 24 (17.02%), con obesidad;15 (12.82%) fueron nulíparas; y 102 (87.18%), multíparas. Se demostró que las variables sexo y paridad tiene asociación significativa con la colelitiasis; pero la edad y obesidad no tiene asociación con la enfermedad. CONCLUSIÓN: La colelitiasis tuvo asociación con el sexo y paridad. La obesidad y edad no tiene asociación con la colelitiasis. SJL, Lima 2015 OBJECTIVES: To demonstrate that age, sex, obesity, and parity are associated with cholelithiasis in patients hospitalized for surgery service of Hospital Aurelio Díaz Ufano and Peral (HADUYP), 2015. MATERIAL AND METHODS: correlational study. The sample are 375 clinical records, selected by convenience sampling, of patients hospitalized for surgery service of the HADUYP from January to December 2015. The results are presented by absolute and percentage frequencies; and partnership shown by X2 test and OR. RESULTS: In the sample, 141 were patients with cholelithiasis and 234, had the disease. Within the group of those with cholelithiasis as each variable: 46.8% patients were ≤ 40; and 53.2%, > 40; 82.98% were women; and 17.02% men; 4.26% were patients with low BMI; 36.17%, with normal BMI; 42.55%, overweight; 17.02%, with obesity; 12.82% were nulliparous; and 87.18% multiparous. It showed that the variables sex and parity has significant association with cholelithiasis; but age and obesity has no association with the disease. CONCLUTION: Cholelithiasis has a very close relationship with the female gender and multiparous. Obesity and age has no association with cholelithiasis.
