poemas escritos por João Augusto que não existe como obra acabada ou
publicada. Iniciam-se os estudos pela leitura dos dados biográficos, situando
esse autor múltiplo e sua obra. Estabeleceu-se um diálogo entre a Filologia e a
Crítica Genética, trazendo a história do texto, considerando o dossiê genético
construído, e delimitando as bases teóricas que orientaram a edição genética e
o estudo crítico. Optou-se pela edição genética vertical que considera o
percurso genético integral, realizando os seguintes procedimentos
metodológicos: descrição, atentando para a especificidade do suporte, do
espaço gráfico e das rasuras; transcrição das modificações textuais relativas às
campanhas de reescrita e de revisão; e, por fim, a edição genética. A partir do
confronto sinóptico entre as versões manuscritas, fez-se uma leitura do
processo de criação João Augusto em Manual de Construção, levando-se em
conta os movimentos de gênese, as etapas de escritura de cada poema, para
entender a gênese da obra, fazendo relacionar arquitetura e literatura e
investigando a interface drummondiana na construção do texto. A realização
deste trabalho traz relevante contribuição tanto para os lugares teóricos da
Filologia e da Genética, como para dar a conhecer a face de poeta de João
Augusto. / The aim of this thesis is to analyze the Manual de Construção, a set of poems
written by João Augusto that do not exists as a finished or published work. The
analysis begins through his biography, showing off how this writer and his work
is multiple and complex. It was established a connection between Philology and
Genetic Criticism, introducing the textual history, considering the developed
genetic dossier and verging the theoretical basis that guide genetic editing and
the critical study. Considering the integral genetic route, it was chosen the
vertical genetic editing, following these methodological procedures: description,
always regarding to the research object specificities, the graphic space and
deletions; transcriptions of the textual changings related to the campaigns of
rewriting and rewiewing; and, finally the genetic edition. From the synoptical
confrontation among the versions of the manuscript, it was done a perusal
about João Augusto’s compositional phase in Manual da Construção, thinking
about the genetic movements, the writing steps of each poem to understand the
work genesis, establishing a connection between architecture and literature,
researching a Drummond interface in the writing composition. This thesis gives
a significant contribution to both the Philology and Genetic Criticism’s
theoretical areas and to bring to light the poet side of João Augusto.
