Previous issue date: 2011-03-31 / This study, linked to the research line Theories of Education and Pedagogical
Processes , aims to identify and analyze the use of TCI are used by professors of the
Pedagogy Course of PUC Goiás. The choice of the theme stems from the formation
and professional experience of this researcher, who has observed the use of TCI in
the Graduate and Pedagogy courses in the city of Goiânia. A bibliographic survey
confirmed the restrict use of TIC, both regarding the frequency and the innovation of
pedagogical practices. It is a qualitative research, that used as means of collecting
data a questionnaire and the observation of classes of the professors of the course of
Pedagogy. The theoretical framework used to base the relationships between the
technologies and education, was based in authors as: Alonso (2008), Araújo (2008),
Barreto (2003), Belloni (1998, 2002, 2009), Castells (1996, 2005), Lévy (1999, 2000),
Peixoto (2009) and Sancho (2006). As for the educational practices with the use of
TCI in the formation of the Pedagogue and in the course of Pedagogy the following
authors were used: Brzezinski (1999, 2000, 2005, 2007), Libâneo (2005, 2006),
Pimenta (1996, 2002), Oliveira (1999, 2000). The empirical data indicate that, in the
researched institution, TIC are used mostly as a reinforcement, a complement and
illustration of subjects and their use is in most cases, of the instrumental kind. / Este estudo vinculado à linha de pesquisa Teorias da Educação e Processos
Pedagógicos tem como objetivo identificar e analisar o uso das TIC por professores
do Curso de Pedagogia da PUC Goiás. A escolha do tema tem origem na formação
e experiência profissional deste pesquisador, que observou a utilização das TIC em
curso de Licenciatura e de Pedagogia do município de Goiânia. Um levantamento
bibliográfico confirmou as observações do uso restrito das TIC tanto em termos de
frequência como no que diz respeito à inovação das práticas pedagógicas. Trata-se
de uma pesquisa qualitativa, que utilizou como instrumentos de coleta de dados dos
questionários e a observação de aulas de professores do Curso de Pedagogia. O
referencial Teórico adotado para fundamentar as relações entre as tecnologias e a
educação se baseou em autores como: Alonso (2008), Araújo (2008), Barreto (2003),
Belloni (1998, 2002, 2009), Castells (1996, 2005), Lévy (1999, 2000), Peixoto (2009)
e Sancho (2006). Acerca das práticas educativas com uso das TIC na formação do
Pedagogo e no Curso de Pedagogia foram adotados os seguintes autores:
Brzezinski (1999, 2000, 2005, 2007), Libâneo (2005, 2006), Pimenta (1996, 2002),
Oliveira (1999, 2000). Os dados empíricos indicam que, na instituição pesquisada,
prioriza-se o uso das TIC como reforço, complemento e ilustração de conteúdos e
que prevalece um uso do tipo instrumental.
