Previous issue date: 2006-03-10 / The present study aims to reflect about the symptomatic manifestations and the
structural traits of the personality. The symptoms are unconscient representations
but, many times do not indicate the psychic structure which constitutes the subject,
the later being represented by the structural traits. Thus, a straight correlation
between the symptom and the structure of the personality shouldn t be done before
analyzing deeply the subjectivity of the issue. The present study analyses a clinical
case in the area of Psychopathology from the scope of Psychoanalytic Theory, where
the subject, an adult female, presents symptomatic manifestations classified as
hysteric. Some evidences however, point to something deeper, concerning the
structure of her personality. To further reflect upon the issue, the paper brings a
theoretic part of three chapters. The first chapter deals with the psychosexual
development of children and specifically the female psychosexual development. The
second chapter brings a reflexion over the dynamic of perversion as well as the
construction of the perverse traits in women. At last, in the third chapter, the
dynamic of hysteria is approached. Following the theoretical referential, there s the
case study itself, in which the material from the reconstruction of the clinical sections
is presented. Afterwards, the Discussion articulates the theory presented and the case
study. The subject s speech presents perverse structural traits rather than hysteric
ones. If the psychoanalyst does not perceive what is beyond the discourse, he/she
may provoke serious hindrances to the clinical process. / O estudo traz uma reflexão em relação às manifestações sintomáticas e os traços
estruturais da personalidade. Os sintomas são representações do inconsciente, mas,
muitas vezes, não indicam a estrutura psíquica constitutiva do sujeito, sendo a
mesma representada pelos traços estruturais. Dessa forma, não se deve fazer uma
relação direta entre sintoma e estrutura de personalidade sem antes analisar com
profundidade a subjetividade em questão. Foi realizada uma análise de um caso
clínico, uma subjetividade feminina adulta, na área da Psicopatologia, a partir da
teoria Psicanalítica, que apresenta manifestações sintomáticas caracterizadas como
histéricas. No entanto, alguns indícios apontam para algo mais, referente a sua
estrutura de personalidade. Para refletir sobre esta questão o trabalho possui uma
parte teórica, abarcando três capítulos. O primeiro capítulo retrata o desenvolvimento
psicossexual da criança, especificamente o desenvolvimento psicossexual feminino.
O segundo traz uma reflexão a respeito da dinâmica perversa, bem como sobre a
construção de traços perversos na mulher. Finalmente, no terceiro capítulo a
dinâmica histérica é abordada. Após o referencial teórico segue-se o Estudo do caso
clínico, no qual o material é apresentado a partir da reconstrução das sessões clínicas.
Posteriormente, a Discussão articula a teoria exposta e o estudo de caso. Pode-se
perceber que o discurso da paciente mostra a presença de traços estruturais perversos,
e não traços estruturais histéricos. Se o psicanalista não escuta o mais além presente
no discurso facilmente poderá provocar sérios entraves no processo clínico.
