Defesa: Curitiba, 24/03/2016 / Inclui referências : f. 144-158 / Resumo: A presente dissertação, intitulada Da Música às Artes Plásticas: a constituição da licenciatura em Educação Artística na Faculdade de Educação Musical do Paraná (década de 1970) tem por objetivo analisar o processo de constituição dessa licenciatura em Curitiba na década de 1970. O novo curso teve início em 1976, momento em que já se discutia a necessidade da formação superior para o professor de Arte desde a ciência dos trâmites da reforma educacional da Lei 5692/71. Para essa operação historiográfica foram selecionadas fontes diversas, tais como documentos oficiais, artigos de jornais de São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro e Paraná, normas e legislações educacionais, currículo e memória de alguns professores e alunos do período pesquisado na FEMP. Em termos metodológicos, a análise tem como apoio os conceitos de táticas e estratégias de Michael de Certeau, que analisa tais práticas sociais em ações no interior das instâncias de poder. Para as análises relativas às disciplinas e ao currículo que constituiu o ensino de 1º e 2º graus e da licenciatura em Educação Artística, face à lei de reforma educacional, busquei o entendimento de Chervel e Goodson. Ao problematizar o conjunto de normas na série de Indicações, Pareceres e Resoluções que compuseram a Lei 5692/71 busquei amparo nas várias dimensões às quais essa lei está passível, apontadas por Faria Filho. O início do ensino superior em Educação Artística na FEMP, na modalidade de licenciatura, decorreu de um conjunto de motivos, dentre os quais está a instituição da Lei 5692/71, o interesse da FEMP em fornecer aos seus alunos uma formação condizente às novas exigências de trabalho nas escolas e a associação da instituição ao Curso de Artes Plásticas na Educação - CAPE. São esses os eixos constituidores do novo ensino, proposto pela Instituição em Curitiba. Embora a Lei 5692/71 seja considerada como um dos maiores fatores da instalação da Licenciatura em Educação Artística na FEMP, a referida instituição notadamente exemplar no ensino de Música e na formação superior do professor para essa área, não tinha a obrigação legal de oferecê-la. Entretanto viu na lei a possibilidade de se tornar uma referência no ensino superior de Educação Artística, para além da já oferecida educação musical. Palavras-chave: Ensino Superior; Licenciatura; Educação Artística; Faculdade de Educação Musical do Paraná; Lei 5692/71 / Abstract: This dissertation, named From Music to the Fine Arts: building the Licentiate Program in Art Education at Faculdade de Educação Musical do Paraná (the School of Music Education) - the '1970s, aims at analyzing the process through which said program has been created in Curitiba in the '1970s. The new program began in 1976, when the need to provide higher education to Art teachers was already being discussed after the educational reform brought about by Law 5692/71. For such historiographic study, several sources were selected such as official documents, newspaper articles from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Paraná, norms and laws involving education, curriculum and memory of some teachers and students from the period researched at FEMP (Faculdade de Educação Musical do Paraná). In regard to the methodology, the analysis is supported by Michel Certeau's concepts of tactics and strategies, which analyze such social practices in the actions taken by higher levels of government. For the analyzes concerning the subjects and the curriculum of primary and secondary education, as well as the licentiate program in Art Education, in face of the educational reform law, I resorted to the thought of Chervel and Goodson. When examining the problems of the set of norms in the series of indications, opinions and resolutions from Law 5692/71, deeply modifying art education and teaching, I sought support in the different dimensions with which said law according to Faria Filho. The onset of higher education in Art Education at FEMP, in the form of a licentiate program, resulted from different reasons among which the passing of Law 5692/71, FEMP's interest in providing to its students a kind of training compatible with the new demands for work in schools, and the School's association with the program Fine Arts in Education - CAPE. Therefore, those are the axes that form the new education proposed by the Institution in Curitiba. Albeit Law 5692/71 is considered one of the major factors for creating the Licentiate Program in Art Education at FEMP, the School well known as exemplary in music education and in teachers' higher education in that area, was not legally mandated to offer it. Nonetheless the law was seen as an opportunity to become a reference in higher education in Art Education, beyond what was offered in music education.
