Defesa: Curitiba,24/10/2016 / Inclui referências : fls. 182-188 / Área de concentração : Espaço, sociedade e ambiente / Resumo: O presente estudo tem como objetivo compreender as dinâmicas construídas por uma escola brasileira situada na fronteira das cidades-gêmeas de Guajará-Mirim (RO/BR) e Guayaramerin (BENI/BOL). A escola situada em fronteira internacional pode parecer uma situação comum em um primeiro olhar; no entanto, cada fronteira tem suas peculiaridades espaciais, as quais envolvem não apenas as condições geográficas da região onde se localizam, mas também, as relações dos sujeitos que aí habitam, vivem e circulam como é o caso dos alunos imigrantes. São relações envolvidas pela política, pela economia, pela cultura e pela história do espaço fronteiriço. A fronteira, nosso objeto de estudo, é aqui estudada a partir das relações educacionais que se estabeleceram ao longo do seu processo de formação histórica. Seguimos a metodologia da pesquisa participante por entendermos que a partir do nosso envolvimento com a educação na fronteira, apenas observar, descrever não responderiam as nossas inquietações. Recorremos aos estudos de Alfred Schutz (2012), para entender o mundo vivido da escola e as escolhas feitas por seus profissionais. Utilizamos também a metodologia da aplicação de Mapas Mentais, Kozel (2009), para entender e analisar as representações que os alunos brasileiros, alunos bolivianos e professores possuem da Escola Durvalina Estilbem de Oliveira, escola e a representação da fronteira para pais e mães de alunos bolivianos. A escola se destacada na fronteira, pelas práticas de acolhimento ao aluno imigrante e pelas ações transfronteiriças. Os resultados revelam o trabalho singular realizado pela escola brasileira na fronteira internacional das cidadesgêmeas de Guajará-Mirim e Guayaramerin. Palavras-Chave: Fronteira; Escola; Interações e Imigrante. / Abstract: This study aims to understand the dynamics built by a Brazilian school on the border of the twin cities of Guajará-Mirim (RO / BR) and Guayaramerin (BENI / BOL). The school located in international border may seem like a common situation at first glance; however, each border has its spatial peculiarities, which involve not only the geographical conditions of the region where they are located, but also the relations of individuals who live there, live and circulate as in the case of immigrant pupils. Are relationships involved in politics, economics, culture and history of the border area.The border, our object of study, is studied here from the educational relations established over its historical formation process. We follow the methodology of participatory research because we believe that from our involvement with education at the border, just observe, describe not answer our concerns. We appealed to Alfred Schutz studies (2012), to understand the lived world of school and the choices made by its employees. We also use the application of the methodology of Mind Maps, Kozel (2009), to understand and analyze the representations that Brazilian students, Bolivian students and teachers have the School Durvalina Estilbem de Oliveira, school and representation of the border to parents of students Bolivians. The school is highlighted on the border, the practice of welcoming the immigrant student and the cross-border actions. The results reveal the unique work of the Brazilian school on the international border of the twin cities of Guajará-Mirim and Guayaramerín. Keywords: Border; School; Interactions and Immigrant.
