Previous issue date: 2017-12-01 / The present dissertation has as an approach the analysis of University Social Responsibility, acknowledged as an extensionist practice that is concretized in the student action in the Legal Practice Centers of Law courses. It is taken as a central question of this study: is it possible to affirm that the actions developed in the Legal Practice Centers of Law courses are considered extensionist actions, in the perspective of university social responsibility and that lead to a student autonomy? For that, it is evident, initially, that the legal education throughout its genesis, generated a complex structure that was situated between traditionalism and modernity, supported in the conduction of innovative methodologies and interventions in what concerns the student / teacher relationship. It identifies the trajectory of structured legal courses under strong political and economic tension, that is, belonging to the environment of advances and setbacks that were contained in the institutions of higher education. They were organized, mainly with contribution of the Constitution of 1988 disposed in the art. 170, access to education as a right of all. The CRFB also enshrines the Principle of Indissociability between teaching, research and extension and also lists the guidelines and competencies to legislate and oversee higher education. The regulatory framework for Law courses are outlined in Resolution No. 9 of the National Education Council, which outlines how legal courses should be structured, especially the supervised internship that should be developed in the Legal Practice Centers. The centrality of the study lies in the analysis of student performance in the perspective of a construction of autonomy, which can be achieved through a posture and awareness of the importance of its role to the community and society, which converges to a transforming action of self and society. For this purpose, the main authors of reference were the theses of Paulo Freire, Pedro Demo, and Boaventura de Sousa Santos.
KEYWORDS: Legal education; University social responsibility; Extension; Nuclei of legal practice; Student autonomy. / A presente dissertação tem como abordagem a análise da Responsabilidade Social Universitária, reconhecida enquanto prática extensionista que se concretiza na atuação discente nos Núcleos de Prática Jurídica dos cursos de Direito. Toma-se como questão central deste estudo: é possível afirmar que as ações desenvolvidas nos Núcleos de Prática Jurídica dos cursos de Direito, são consideradas ações extensionistas, na perspectiva da responsabilidade social universitária e que conduza a uma autonomia discente? Para tanto, evidencia-se, inicialmente, que o ensino jurídico ao longo de sua gênese, engendrou complexa estrutura que se situou entre o tradicionalismo e a modernidade, amparado na condução de inovadoras metodologias e intervenções no que concerne a relação aluno/professor. Identifica-se a trajetória dos cursos jurídicos estruturados sob forte tensão política e econômica, ou seja, pertencente ao ambiente de avanços e retrocessos que estavam contidos nas próprias instituições de ensino superior. Organizaram-se, sobretudo com aporte da Constituição de 1988 disposto no art. 170, o acesso à educação enquanto direito de todos. Na CRFB também consagra o Princípio da Indissociabilidade entre ensino, pesquisa e extensão e também enumera as diretrizes e competências para legislar e fiscalizar em matéria de educação superior.
