Previous issue date: 2006-12-28 / This is a case study aimed to investigate the subjective constructions built by a drug
addict in a semi-open rehabilitation regime. Drug addiction is a social symptom that
has appeared on a wide scale in the last years. The addict takes the drug as if it is
going to guarantee his full happiness. This is a complex situation, once it causes in
the individual a certain subjective impoverishment and a weakening of his social
bonds. Our theoretical journey had psychoanalysis as its reference point. We started
our research building the first chapter, which deals with the building of a subjective
construction, how does it get established and its condition. We carry on building a
second chapter addressing the subjective effect resulting from the use of toxics. In
this chapter, we deal on how the addicts are subjectively affected regarding their
relationship with the drug itself, with the other objects and with other people. Our
case study is a qualitative research, based on semi-structured interviews. Data were
organized under thematic categories, focused on the individual s subjective
constructions regarding his relationship with the drug, with other people and with
other objects. The results showed a subjective effect on the drug addict, affecting his
relationships with other individuals and objects. Once in a rehab treatment, the
individual builds some subjective constructions when trying to escape such position
regarding the toxic. The subject relapses and leaves treatment while continuing with
the building of these subjective constructions regarding his relationship with the drug,
with the other objects and with other people as he tries to reposition himself.
Key words: subjective constitution; subjective effect; drug addiction; psychoanalysis. / Trata-se de um estudo de caso realizado com a intenção de investigar as construções subjetivas efetivadas por um drogadito em regime de tratamento semiaberto. A drogadição é um sintoma social que eclodiu em grande escala na contemporaneidade. O drogadito encontra-se adicionado ao objeto droga como se este fosse lhe garantir a felicidade plena. Sua problemática é complexa, pois causa para o sujeito um certo empobrecimento subjetivo e um enfraquecimento dos seus laços sociais. Nosso percurso teórico teve como referencial a Psicanálise. Iniciaremos nossa pesquisa construindo um primeiro capítulo que fala sobre a constituição subjetiva, como ela se estabelece e qual a sua condição. Prosseguiremos construindo um segundo capítulo que vai falar justamente da afetação subjetiva decorrente da utilização dos tóxicos. Nesse capítulo, abordaremos como ficam afetados subjetivamente os drogaditos no que se refere a sua relação com a droga, com os demais objetos e com o semelhante. O nosso estudo de caso é uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, tendo como instrumento de coleta de dados, entrevistas semi-estruturadas. Os dados foram organizados sob forma de categorias temáticas que enfocam as construções subjetivas do sujeito da sua relação com a droga, com as pessoas, e com os demais objetos. Os resultados demonstraram uma afetação subjetiva do drogadito, comprometendo sua relação com os Outros e com os demais objetos. Com a entrada no tratamento, o sujeito faz algumas construções subjetivas na tentativa de sair desse posicionamento em relação ao tóxico. O sujeito recai e sai do tratamento continuando a fazer construções subjetivas a cerca da sua relação com a droga, com os demais objetos e com as pessoas.
