Previous issue date: 2008-12-12 / between the subjects and the medical knowledge. We suppose that such relation can
be analyzed under the Freudian Theory of Identifications by means of which Freud
explains the social ties. In this manner, it highlights the nature of the social ties
involved the subjective experience that prevails in the medical field of today. The
research is divided in three chapters. The first describes a medical device, par
excellence, that highlights the attendance to elderly and represents the biomedical
ideals by following the principals of the quality of life. The second deals with authors
that study a way of construction of itself based in Biology as dominant speech in the
present day. The third chapter examines the contemporary relations of the subject
with the medical knowledge under the Freudian Theory of Identifications, searching
to know in what measure we can relate them to the Freudian model of identification.
The third chapter concludes that the subjective relations within the medical field are
of servitude or fascination in the same way it can be observed in the mass
phenomenon.
Key-Words: Social Tie, Identification, Medical Knowledge, Psychoanalysis, Present / O presente estudo tem origem no questionamento acerca das relações contemporâneas entre os sujeitos e o saber médico. Pressupõe-se que tal relação pode ser analisada à luz da Teoria Freudiana das Identificações por meio da qual Freud explica os laços sociais. Desse modo, privilegia-se a natureza dos laços sociais implicados na experiência subjetiva que caracteriza o domínio médico na atualidade. O trabalho está dividido em três capítulos. O primeiro descreve um dispositivo médico, por excelência, que privilegia o atendimento a idosos e encarna os ideais biomédicos, atendendo aos princípios da qualidade de vida. O segundo trata de autores que investigam uma forma de constituição de si fundada na Biologia como discurso dominante na contemporaneidade. Já o terceiro capítulo examina as relações contemporâneas do sujeito com o saber médico à luz da Teoria Freudiana das Identificações, buscando conhecer em que medida se pode relacioná-las com o modelo freudiano de identificação. Conclui o terceiro capítulo que as relações subjetivas dentro do campo médico são de servidão ou fascinação tal como se observa no fenômeno de massa.
