Previous issue date: 2015-03-26 / This paper aims to articulate some issues to nihilism with Freudian metapsychology, with the backdrop of the historical-philosophical problem the death of God. So we left some ethical and epistemological considerations concerning the event "death of God", which according to Nietzsche is the cultural phenomenon that marks a kind of turning point in Western thought, to then take a reading of this phenomenon from the Freudian perspective. Therefore, it is here an attempt to follow the genesis of the notion of God in Freud, especially in his work Totem and Taboo (1912) then proceed to the question of why God's death in late modernity (Nietzsche's thesis) would have caused such perplexity in Western culture. This touches on the issue of the loss of ethical and ontological foundations for human life in the West, which led us to a question about the limits and the very foundation of man from its most sublime invention: God. For, this question, enter the Freudian hypothesis of the primitive parricide as a mythology trying to restore the Christian metaphysics in the tracks of historic Homo sapiens truth. Thus, the Freudian "scientific myth", has in its central concepts the ambivalence of feelings and the Death instinct resets at the heart of human life a vacuum of being and sense impossible to full rational representation, but that drove the genesis at the same time to the Man, Religion and Culture. What we deduce that the Death instinct (in its aggressive expression on primitive parricide) is the psychoanalytic concept that modern resizes the human character and allows a glimpse of a symbolic structure (the Unconscious) as a place of immanent determination of his craving for order and transcendence.

God`s death. / Este trabalho pretende articular algumas questões referentes ao niilismo com a metapsicologia freudiana, tendo como pano de fundo a problemática histórico-filosófica da morte de Deus. Assim, partimos de algumas considerações éticas e epistemológicas referentes ao acontecimento morte de Deus , que segundo Nietzsche é o fenômeno cultural que marca uma espécie de inflexão no pensamento ocidental, para daí fazer uma leitura deste fenômeno a partir da perspectiva freudiana. Portanto, faz-se aqui uma tentativa de seguir a gênese da noção de Deus em Freud, sobretudo em sua obra Totem e Tabu (1912) para daí seguir a pergunta de porque a morte de Deus na modernidade tardia (tese nietzschiana) teria causado tamanha perplexidade na cultura ocidental. Isso toca na questão da perda dos fundamentos éticos e ontológicos para a vida humana no Ocidente, o que nos levou a uma interrogação sobre os limites e a fundação mesma do homem a partir de sua invenção mais sublime: Deus. Para, desta interrogação, introduzir a hipótese freudiana do parricídio primitivo como uma mitologia que tenta repor a metafísica cristã nos trilhos da verdade histórica do homo sapiens. Deste modo, o mito científico freudiano, tendo em seus conceitos centrais a ambivalência de sentimentos e a pulsão de morte, repõe no âmago da vida humana um vazio de ser e de sentido impossíveis de uma plena representação racional, mas que impulsionou a gênese a um só tempo do Homem, da Religião e da Cultura. Do que deduzimos que a Pulsão de morte (em sua expressão agressiva no parricídio primitivo) é o conceito psicanalítico que redimensiona modernamente o caráter humano e permite o vislumbre de uma estrutura simbólica (o Inconsciente) como lugar de determinação imanente de sua ânsia por ordem e transcendência.
