Previous issue date: 2014-12-16 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / This research aims to investigate how information and communication technologies are included in education and, in particular, as this issue is addressed in the curriculum in initial teacher education in degree courses in pedagogy in classroom mode of São Paulo. The theoretical framework focuses on three guidelines: curriculum, information and communication technologies in education and initial teacher education. The methodology used was the documentary analysis using qualitative approach. Therefore, we investigated on curricular outlines of the courses, the curriculum components to the theme related to technologies in eleven institutions of higher education in São Paulo, who obtained the overall index courses the preliminary concept of course 4:05, which offer the actual course of degree in Pedagogy. The first part of the survey was conducted to know the course of the offer conditions of pedagogy in classroom mode, where we examine the curriculum matrices presented in the electronic addresses of the educational institutions of the eleven institutions in the city of São Paulo. The investigation identified that there are curriculum components related indicators to the technologies present in almost all curricular matrices of the surveyed higher education institutions. We believe, however, that there is need for further reflection on information and communication technologies in initial teacher education, the possibility of inserting actions related to their practice with a view to paradigm shifts in line with the highly digital society in days today / Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo investigar como as tecnologias de informação e comunicação se inserem na educação e, em especial, como esta temática é abordada nos currículos na formação inicial de professores, nos cursos de licenciatura em Pedagogia na modalidade presencial do município de São Paulo. O quadro teórico centra-se em três linhas orientadoras: currículo, tecnologias de informação e comunicação na educação e formação inicial de professores. A metodologia utilizada foi a análise documental utilizando abordagem qualitativa. Para tanto foram investigadas, nas matrizes curriculares dos cursos, os componentes curriculares com a temática relacionada às tecnologias em onze instituições do ensino superior do município de São Paulo, que obtiveram no índice geral de cursos o conceito preliminar de curso 4 e 5, que oferecem o curso presencial de licenciatura em Pedagogia. A primeira parte do levantamento foi realizada para conhecer as condições de oferta do curso de Pedagogia na modalidade presencial, em que analisamos as matrizes curriculares apresentadas nos endereços eletrônicos das instituições de ensino das onze instituições do município de São Paulo. A investigação realizada permitiu identificar que existem indicadores de componentes curriculares relacionados às tecnologias presentes em quase todas as matrizes curriculares das instituições de ensino superior pesquisadas. Consideramos, contudo, que há necessidade de reflexão mais aprofundada sobre as tecnologias de informação e comunicação na formação inicial de professores, na possibilidade de inserção de ações relacionadas à sua prática pedagógica numa perspectiva de mudanças de paradigma em sintonia com a sociedade altamente digital nos dias de hoje
