Previous issue date: 2001-09-06 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / Determinou-se a exigência nutricional de lisina para aves poedeiras leves e semipesadas em crescimento utilizando os resultados de desempenho, as técnicas de abate comparativo e o balanço de nitrogênio. Para tanto, foram desenvolvidos três experimentos durante toda a fase de crescimento (0 a 18 semanas de idade) das aves. No primeiro experimento foram utilizadas 480 aves, no período de 1 a 3 semanas de idade, e, 432 aves no período de 4 a 6 semanas de idade. No segundo experimento foram utilizados 384 aves durante o período de 8 a 10 semanas de idade, e, 336 aves durante período de 12 a 14 semanas de idade e no terceiro experimento foram utilizados, durante a fase de 15 a 17 semanas de idade, 336 frangas. Em todos os experimentos utilizou-se aves da marca comercial Hy-line, sendo 50% Hy-line W 36 (leves) e 50% Hy- line Brown (semipesadas), em delineamento inteiramente casualizado, num esquema fatorial 6 x 2 (seis níveis de lisina e duas linhagens de aves de postura) utilizando os níveis 0,00; 0,06; 0,12; 0,18; 0,24 e 0,30% de lisina na ração Com base nas variáveis analisadas estatisticamente, a exigência de lisina total para o período de 1 a 3 semanas de idade foi 1,052% para aves leves, e, 0,981% para aves semipesadas, ou, 207,38 mg de lisina total/ dia para aves leves e 198,63 mg de lisina total/ dia para aves semipesadas. Para o período de 4 a 6 semanas de idade a exigência de lisina foi de 0,939% para aves leves e 0,889 para aves semipesadas ou, 323,30 mg de lisina total/ dia para aves leves e 300,29 mg de lisina total/ dia para aves semipesadas. No período de 8 a 10 semanas de idade a exigência de lisina foi de 0,789% para aves leves e semipesadas. O consumo de lisina com base na exigência estimada foi. 345,71 mg de lisina total/ dia para aves leves, e, 392,31 mg de lisina total/ dia para aves semipesadas. No período de 12 a 14 semanas de idade a exigência de lisina foi de 0,714% para aves leves e semipesadas. O consumo de lisina com base na exigência estimada foi. 333,56 mg de lisina total/ dia para aves leves, e, 394,80 mg de lisina total/ dia para aves semipesadas. Para o período de 15 a 17 semanas de idade, os resultados estatísticos indicaram 0,638% de lisina para aves leves e semipesadas. Entretanto, o nível de 0,458% de inclusão de lisina total nas rações experimentais, pode ser indicado, para esse período, como valor mínimo a ser utilizado para aves leves e semipesadas. Esse resultado tende a melhorar as variáveis estudadas além de coincidir com os níveis mínimos encontrados na literatura. Com base no valor sugerido, as aves leves consumiram 270,06 mg de lisina total/ dia ou 219 mg de lisina digestível/ dia, e as aves semipesadas consumiram 273,36 mg de lisina total/ dia ou 221,45 mg de lisina digestível/ dia. / Once determinated the nutritional requirement of lysine for white-egg and brown-egg laying hens in growing using the performance, the comparative slaughter technique and nitrogen balance techinique results. There for, 3 researches were developed during all growing phases (0 to 18 weeks of age) of the birds. At the first research, 480 birds were used at the period of 1 to 3 weeks of age and 432 birds at the period of 4 to 6 weeks of age. At the second research, 384 birds were used at the period of 8 to 10 weeks of age, and, 336 birds during the period 12 to 14 weeks of age. At the third research, 336 pullets were used during the 15 to 17 weeks of age. In all the researches, the commercial Hy-line birds were used; 50% Hy-line W 36 (white) and 50% Hy-line brown, in completely randomized design, in a factorial 6x2 (six treatments and two strains of laying hens in growing) using 0,00; 0,06; 0,12; 0,18; 0,24 and 0,30% lysine levels in the ration. Based on the caracteristcs statisticaly analysed the total lysine requirement for the period of 1 to 3 weeks of age was 1,052% for white birds, and 0,981% for brown birds, or, 207,38 mg of total lysine/day for white birds and 198,63 mg of total lysine/day for brown birds. For the period of 4 to 6 weeks of age the lysine requirement was 0,939% for white birds and 0,889% for brown birds, or, 323,30 mg of total lysine/day for white birds and 300,29 mg of total lysine/day for brown birds. At the period of 8 to 10 weeks of age the lysine requirement was 0,789% for both, white birds and brown birds. The lysine intake based on the estimated requirement was 345,71 mg of total lysine/day for white birds and 392,31 mg of total lysine/day for brown birds. At the period of 12 to 14 weeks of age the lysine requirement was 0,714% for both, white birds and brown birds. The lysine intake based on the estimated requirement was 333,56 mg of total lysine/day for white birds and 394,80 mg of total lysine/day for brown birds. For the period of 15 to 17 weeks of age, the caracteristics statisticaly analysed indicated 0,639% of lysine for white birds and brown birds. However, 0,458% inclusion of level lysine level at the experimental rations, may be indicated for this period as minimum value to be used for white and brown birds. This result might improve the caracteristics studied, in addition to coincide with the minimum levels found at the literature. Based on the suggested value, the white birds intaked 270,06 mg of total lysine/day, and the brown birds intaked 221,45 mg of total lysine/day. / Tese importada do Alexandria
